The Wildcats take it on the chin this week as RB Mitch Chapman signs with Rockford and G Tyrell Rey signs with SMU. We were really hoping to get those two. We did get WR Malcom Clayton though, and that is good for the still weak WR corp.

Indiana (1-6) VS Northwestern (3-4) (-9)

The Wildcats really need this one to help continue the progress in this season of change and help to establish a winning tradition, especially against teams that we chould be able to beat.

WOW, a year after a triple OT loss against Indiana, the Wildcats have to come back from a 12 point deficet to make a 4th quarter comeback to remember! RB Read was back to early form as the line was able to handle the Indiana D line.

This game showed the character of the youngsters and the focus of the new coaching staff as they never gave up on the game. Both coordinators dug in late in the game and made the needed adjustments to pull out the win! May this game be the beginning of dominance over Indiana over the coming years!!!

After 10 weeks, there are still 8 undefeated teams in the nation! It will be interesting to see who remains undefeated before the playoff. My hopes is that there are a few, especially Miami of Ohio. It is for teams like Miami of Ohio that the playoff season gives a shot to. Who knows if they can become a cinderella team or not, but without a playoff, they don't even get a shot. Let's see!!!

The line is only -2 for Mich State, but I don't feel to confident in this one. All of our victories this year have been against substantially worse teams, so to me, this will be an upset if we pull this one off.....

And boy was I right! Mich State beat us to the tune of 41-17!! We were tied at the half, but the staff and talent of State were just too much for the fledgling power of the Wildcats!

Just wanted to put this to rest......

My computer and disk died without backups so this was one I couldn't come back to. I was really loving this team.

Family matters have kept me away for the past half of the year. If I get more established here at home, I would like to run another one.

I know to most this has been put to rest by the inactivity,..... but I never like to leave anything incomplete.
