Week 10
vs Washington (4-4) (-5)
Passing: Favre 18-24 136 1 td
Rushing: Sanders 43-195
Receiving: Jones 2-34

We absolutely dominated possession in this game, holding the ball for almost 2/3’s of the game as well as running 24 more plays than the visiting Redskins. The defense held the Skins to 7 first downs and only 147 total offense, which unfortunately for Eric Dickerson was fewer yards than Barry amassed.
Final: 20-7 W (7-2)
Run to Eric: 1249/138.8/2220

Week 11
at Minnesota (3-6) (-5)
Passing: Favre 17-25 250 1 int
Rushing: Sanders 21-86 1 td
Receiving: McCardell 4-81

Eddie Murray let us down today, he shanked two first half field goals which were the difference in this tilt. Herschel Walker continued to annoy me, rushing for 140 yards and a touchdown. The passing defense had another strong day holding Wade Wilson to 140 yards and forcing an interception. We could drive the ball, but once we got across half the drives just stalled and Jim Arnold would wind up pounding the ball into the endzone.
Final: 13-10 L (7-3)
Chasing 2105: 1335/133.5/2136

Week 12
vs Indianapolis (6-4) (-2)
Passing: Favre 18-25 239 1 td
Rushing: Sanders 20-115 2 td
Receiving: McCardell 6-107

Speaking of Eric, guess who was in the Colts backfield? None other than the man who’s record is going to get smashed by Barry, Mr. Eric Dickerson. Eventhough Dickerson is in his 10th year, he can still be a dangerous weapon. Today was no different has he averaged 5.4 yards per carry. Doug Williams also had a good day throwing for 289 yards. However most of these yards didn’t come until the end of the game when it was already in hand. That being said the 91 and 88 yard touchdown drives were impressive and definitely put a scare into Lions fans. On another positive note, we are now guaranteed a 500 finish as this marks our 8th win. With our weak division we have a chance at a first round bye, which while not deserved, would be welcome none the less.
Final: 24-19 W (8-3)
Hunt for Eric: 1450/131.8/2109

Week 13
at San Francisco (9-2) (-3)
Passing: Favre 28-39 245 2 td
Rushing: Sanders 18-104 1 td
Receiving: Moore 8-93 1 td

I still don’t understand how we are favoured. Everytime I look at the Niners roster I get chills down my spine. Young, Rice, Smith, Taylor, Sikahema. Wait, Sikahema? Yes today Vai was an absolute thorn in our side rushing for 119 yards on 17 carries after Emmitt was injured early in the game. Steve Young also had a monster game throwing for 390 yards with his favourite target Mr. Rice gaining 155 of those, along with 3 touchdowns. For all of that offense, we managed to keep it close and weather the early flurry of touchdowns (4 on their first 5 possessions). Then the game turned into a heavyweight bout with both teams trading scores until we were up 3 with 1:05 remaining. However some of that Montana magic had rubbed off on old Steve and he led the Niners into field goal range with a 3 play 61 yard drive. Matt Stover drilled the field goal with 6 seconds left on the clock to send the game to overtime, where the Lions never touched the ball and good old Vai capped a exciting afternoon.
Final: 37-31 L (8-4) OT
The Chase: 1554/129.5/2072

Up next the stretch run, can we get a first round bye? Will we make the playoffs? Will Barry become the single season rushing leader? All this and more as the 92 season wraps up. Stay tuned!

Week 14
at Houston (4-8) (-7)
Passing: Favre 10-18 123 1 int
Rushing: Sanders 27-131 3 td
Receiving: Moore 3-49

The Texans got all they could handle with our runningbacks today. If it wasn’t Barry running the ball down their throats, it was Mel Gray, who returned the opening kickoff and another kickoff for 99 and 98 yard touchdowns respectively. This game was never close despite Randal Hill’s best efforts (7-88 1 td). Here is Mel’s kick return line for the day:
Detroit Ret Yards Avg TD
Mel Gray 4 246 61.5 2
Not too shabby.
Final: 41-16 W (9-4)
The Chase: 1685/129.6/2074

Week 15
vs Minnesota (5-8) (-8)
Passing: Favre 13-21 103
Rushing: Sanders 26-139
Receiving: McCardell 4-30

We finally welcome back Mike Cofer as he took forever to recover from his injury and he did well in his return with 3 tackles, 2 assists and a sack in a strong defensive effort. The Vikings we held to 161 yards and on of our nemeses Herschel was held to 61 yards. Our offense didn’t fair much better than the Vikings, except for one Barry Sanders that is. Two games to go and he is right there with Dickerson, however I expect a tough test next week in Tennessee. Who knows, maybe Favre will outgain him
Final: 16-10 W (10-4)
Run Barry Run: 1824/130.3/2084

Week 16
at Tennessee (10-4) (+3)
Passing: Favre 19-29 200 3 td 1 int
Rushing: Sanders 30-135
Receiving: McCardell 5-51

This is the litmus test game. So far this season we have a great record, but we haven’t really played anybody, except Philly and they killed us. One of the best quarterbacks in the league is at the helm of a team that went undefeated the previous season. The game starts out OK as we are able to drive the ball into Tennessee territory but Eddie is unable to convert the long field goal. Our next opportunity we manage to drive the ball the length of the field for a touchdown and after that we trade field goals to end the half. The second half is just as solid as the first, we are able to consistently move the ball and manage to best Tennessee today. The big reason was the defense. Warren Moon had one of his worst days going 15-44 222 with 1 td and 2 int, while Favre had a pretty good game. With one game to go we are tied with Philly (we lose the tiebreak) for the second first round bye (San Fran is 13-2), so we need a victory in Chicago next week (who are fighting for their playoff lives) and we need Philly to lose at home to Washington.
Final: 24-10 W (11-4) Clinched Division Title, we’re going to the playoffs!!!
RBR: 1959/130.6/2089 Needs 147 yards to break record

Fantastic job so far this season. It's also great to see all the long time CFL'ers getting another shot at doing something in the NFL (though none seem to really be seizing that opportunity just yet).

Good luck in the playoffs (unless you face Ten...)!

And we are treated to the Favre incomplete show, ytg 72.
The half ends after Chicago again drives the ball, but runs out of time, not looking too good for old Barry here.

Chicago again drives the ball across half, but the drive ends up stalling and they are forced to punt:

1-10-DET20 (3Q: 06:38) Brett Favre pass completed to WR Keenan McCardell for 6 yards. Tackled by S David Tate, assisted by OLB John Roper. The receiver ran his route right over the middle of the field. The quarterback threw into double coverage. PENALTY: Detroit was called for Offensive Holding.
1-20-DET10 (3Q: 06:28) Barry Sanders ran around the left tackle for 2 yards. Tackled by CB Greg Provost.
2-18-DET12 (3Q: 05:56) PENALTY: Detroit was called for a False Start.
2-23-DET07 (3Q: 05:49) Brett Favre sacked by DE Richard Dent for a loss of 2 yards. Dent ran right past Harvey Salem and knocked down the quarterback.
3-25-DET05 (3Q: 05:11) Barry Sanders ran inside the left guard for 2 yards. Tackled by DE Richard Dent.
4-23-DET07 (3Q: 04:38) Jim Arnold punted 52 yards. Louis Lipps returned the kick 10 yards to the DET49. Tackled by Tony Paige.

A whopping 4 yards on this drive 49 to go

1-10-CHI27 (4Q: 14:15) Brett Favre pass fell incomplete, intended for RB Barry Sanders. S David Tate defended the pass. The quarterback threw away from the double coverage.
2-10-CHI27 (4Q: 14:09) Barry Sanders ran inside the left guard for 8 yards. Tackled by DT William Perry, assisted by CB Greg Provost. Key block delivered by Lomas Brown.

2-10-CHI17 (4Q: 12:28) Brett Favre pass completed to WR Herman Moore for 5 yards. The receiver went out of bounds. Tackled by OLB John Roper, assisted by ILB Robert Jones. Chicago's Maurice Douglass was hurt on the play. This appears to be a minor shoulder injury. He should be able to remain in the game.
3-5-CHI12 (4Q: 11:49) Brett Favre sacked by DE Richard Dent and DT William Perry for a loss of 8 yards. Dent ran right past Lomas Brown and knocked down the quarterback.
4-13-CHI20 (4Q: 11:20) Eddie Murray attempted a 37 yard field goal and succeeded. Detroit 13, Chicago 3
(4Q: 11:14) Eddie Murray kicked off 65 yards from the DET30. Brian Mitchell returned the ball 19 yards to the CHI24. Tackled by Jimmy Spencer.

Drive ends with a Murray fg, 27 yards to go. Eventhough Chicago has been able to move the ball they haven't turned it into points, which is good because if we were losing we wouldn't be pulling an OJ to get Barry the record.

1-10-CHI28 (4Q: 02:42) Barry Sanders ran a trap outside the left tackle for 21 yards. Tackled by S Shaun Gayle. Key block delivered by Kevin Glover.

It's the record, the game is stopped, there is a smattering of clapping and booing in Soldier field as one of their bitter rivals has broken a major record (wonder how they will feel when he goes after Walter's big record?) Still they respect Barry Sanders the man, regardless of the colour on his back. Eric Dickerson has flown out after his Colts win earlier that day to witness the assault on his record. What a great day for Barry and the Lions.

Wild Card
vs Seattle (10-6) (-6)
According to the preview we are either tied or better at every position except on special teams. We are also ranked higher in most statistical categories except for our 32nd in pass defense. This stat is misleading though since we are second in quarterback rating allowed. The Seahawks are also last in turnover margin. Hopefully we can give the fans a little somethin, somethin.
The game started off with short drives for each team followed by booming punts that backed both offenses back deep. On our next drive Favre completed two long passes to Barry and Proehl to set up a Sanders rushing score. On the following drive John L. Williams ate up a lot of clock as he never ran for less than 3 or more than 6 yards on a 19 play 71 yard drive, which ended in a McMahon to Fenner touchdown. After that though our offense never got going again with 5 consecutive punts to close out the half even after gaining great field position on a William White interception. John L. led another long touchdown drive before the half and McMahon led one of his own and we were down 21-7 at recess. The second half started better as we were able to sustain a drive and net a field goal to shrink the deficit to 11 but it was not to be. Eventhough the defense held the Haws to 55 second half yards the damage was done and the offense could never mount a sufficient enough drive to produce anymore points disappointing the home crown.
Final: 24-10 L (12-5)
Favre: 16-32 158
Sanders: 15-69 1 td
Sanders: 4-46

This was quite the game with the score 21-17 Philly at half time, then neither team could move the ball close enough to score until Kosar led a 84 yard touchdown drive with under two minutes to go. Randall led the Eagles back within field goal range with 2 second on the clock after two quick strikes to Cris Carter, but Igwebuike shanked a 40 yard field goal (wonder if it was wide right?) to seal the win for the Browns. I wonder if Elway didn’t come along if the Browns would ever have left Cleveland?

At the end of this season I will do a five year retrospective on the 89 draft, our performance vs actual and maybe a couple other things.

Free Agency
After looking at who I could get in the draft (none of the top receivers will be available when I pick, although I think a certain gap toothed DE may slip to my spot) and looking at who is available in free agency I decided to go big again.
Trade
Philadelphia gets
FL Herman Moore 55/55 Should be a starter in Philly for years to come
NT Santana Dotson 25/37 Creeping, should be a solid starter in a couple of seasons
2(29) 1993 Draft Pick
2nd Round 1994 Draft Pick

Detroit Gets
FL Cris Carter 78/78 who signs a 5 year 27.48 million dollar extension, this should be interesting

So we’re kissing that caproom goodbye this year with hopes of getting over the hump, we’re not totally jobbed here though and should still be able to resign key guys (Favre and Barry) in the future.

Kiss that extra cap room goodbye, Boatswain and Brown have been shaky but if we don’t land either Wallace or Ballard, we’ll still be ok.

're not going
to be competitive throwing for 125 a game.

to the puzzle. Cris Carter is a stud and hopefully will be able to dominate games and

Week 1
vs Minnesota (0-0) (-13)
Passing: Favre 13-16 197 3 td
Rushing: Sanders 39-152
Receiving: Carter 2-50

-13 are these guys insane? Since when have we covered that kind of spread? Well the answer is since now. Big games all around, forced 3 picks from Carlson, held Walker in checkish and had a solid effort offensively. All in all a good start to the season.
Final: 34-10 W (1-0)

Week 2
at Pittsburgh (1-0) (-8)
Passing: Favre 13-23 119 1 td
Rushing: Sanders 28-103 1 td
Receiving: Sanders 6-22

You know when I said we wouldn’t be able to replace Mel Gray. Apparently Kevin Clark didn’t get the message. He not only brought a punt back, but also a kickoff back to help overcome a shaky offensive performance to crush the Steelers. This was a pretty ugly game offensively for both teams with a total of less than 400 yards combined.
Final: 31-7 W (2-0)

Week 3
at San Francisco (2-0) (-5)
Passing: Favre 15-22 234 4 td 1 int
Rushing: Sanders 20-46
Receiving: Carter 4-102 1 td

This is the big one, the litmus test. San Francisco is probably the best team in the league, even though their recent playoff bouts haven’t shown it. They have an excellent quarterback and phenomenal wideouts, plus a great running game and it showed today as they hung up 424 yards compared to our 267. Steve Young attempted 57 passes, completing 34 of them for 347 yards, a lot of them to a Mr. Rice, who caught 11 for 150. Bill Goldberg put a lot of heat on Favre, sacking him twice. However all that was for not as if we gained a first down we scored a touchdown today. We managed 4 long drives, all resulting in touchdowns and turned two turnovers into very, very long field goals. Cris Carter didn’t catch many balls, but when he did he made them count going for over 100 yards on only 4 grabs. Big win today, big win.
Final: 34-24 W (3-0)

Week 4
at New Orleans (1-2) (-8)
Passing: Favre 25-37 318 1 td
Rushing: Sanders 25-106 4 td
Receiving: McCardell 5-97 1 td

Finally, the offense said to the D, it’s okay boys we got this one. No turnovers for anyone today, nothing special about the special teams, just our offense marching up and down the field for many, many scores and New Orleans punting a lot. Trent Green relieved Steve Bono who went 2-11 and had a decent day going 22-33 for 212 yards but he couldn’t lead the Saints to any scores as we just blew them out.
Final: 41-17 W (4-0)

This has been a great start to the season, the big questions, can our big guns stay healthy and can the D keep it up the rest of the way. Stay tuned.

Injuries: Darrien Gordon is out 3 weeks with a foot thing + lots of guys beat up but not out.

Week 5
Bye
*Note I had a computer malfunction and lost the last 2 weeks. The results were the same, just not quite as promising.

Week 6
vs Chicago (3-1) (-9)
Passing: Favre 13-25 117 1 td
Rushing: Sanders 25-133
Receiving: McCardell 7-50

Man whenever we get together it’s just a terrible game. 500 yards total offense combined match with 18 punts equals one dull game. Jerry Ball had a big and I mean big 33 yard fumble return and Norwood pulled what I hope isn’t foreshadowing by shanking the extra point wide right. Nothing else interesting to report.
Final: 13-10 W (5-0)

Week 7
vs Tampa Bay (3-3) (-9)
Passing: Favre 24-33 254 3 td
Rushing: Sanders 27-143 1 td
Receiving: Carter 5-92 1 td

Guess who is quarterbacking the Bucs? Our old pal Eric Hipple. Lets just say the crowd wasn’t very supportive of their ex starter and our defense wasn’t to happy to see him either, forcing 2 fumbles, sacking him 5 times and forcing him from the game late with an arm injury. Ricky Watters had a good day against us but the Bucs got down so much, so soon that he didn’t get to make a huge impact. Pretty good effort all around as we just clobbered the Bucs.
Final: 31-6 W (6-0)

FB Tony Paige is out 3 weeks with an upper body injury.

Week 8
at Atlanta (2-5) (-13)
Passing: Favre 21-34 238 1 td
Rushing: Sanders 19-79
Receiving: McCardell 3-77

We caught the Falcons at the right time as a lot of their big guns are injured. Deion looks like he’s coming back this week but Clyde Simmons, Michael Strahan and Quinton Coryatt are all out. However it didn’t seem to matter as we put together some drives but settled for too many field goals. Both offenses had good days going for over 350 yards each but the Falcons scored last and they took the victory, ending our perfect start. We definitely didn’t play poorly, they just played a little bit better than us.
Final: 24-17 L (6-1)

Week 9
vs Carolina (3-5) (-11)
Passing: Favre 29-36 311 1 td 1 int
Rushing: Sanders 18-105
Receiving: Carter 7-111

I think the scoring log says a lot about this game:
1Q: 10:07 DET - Larry Centers 15 pass from Brett Favre (Scott Norwood extra point)
1Q: 01:21 DET - Scott Norwood 44 field goal
2Q: 12:16 DET - Scott Norwood 53 field goal
2Q: 05:39 DET - Scott Norwood 32 field goal
2Q: 02:51 CAR - Troy Stradford 5 pass from Mike Buck (Greg Davis extra point)
3Q: 08:50 CAR - Greg Davis 24 field goal
3Q: 02:38 CAR - Greg Davis 47 field goal
4Q: 11:24 CAR - Troy Stradford 5 run (Greg Davis extra point)
4Q: 08:33 CAR - Reggie Dupard 1 pass from Mike Buck (Greg Davis extra point)
4Q: 02:06 CAR - Reggie Dupard 6 run (Greg Davis extra point)
First, we couldn’t score touchdowns when we had the opportunity. Second when we had a chance to put the game away we kept letting Carolina come back, committed dumb turnovers and basically gave the game away. This is a very disappointing loss, considering that the offense had one of their better games.
Final: 34-16 L (6-2)

Week 9
vs Carolina (3-5) (-11)
Passing: Favre 14-21 138 1 td
Rushing: Sanders 43-152 1 td
Receiving: Carter 3-53

Ok this is becoming an epidemic, I don’t know what happened but somehow I have to play the week 9 game again. Quite a different story we chased Mike Buck from the game early after he went 8 for 16 for 71 yards, in comes Bobby Hebert who we promptly picked off 4 times in 12 passes for a good ole 0 rating and finally they brought in Billy Joe Hobert to finish out the game.
Final: 23-0 W (7-1)

Week 10
at Green Bay (5-3) (-7)
Passing: Favre 21-40 260 2 td
Rushing: Sanders 21-87 1 td
Receiving: McCardell 6-99 1 td

This was quite a game, again we had lots of problems with Sterling Sharpe but we also had problems with Jeff Query and Don Beebe. It’s not exactly inspiring when you’re getting torn apart by those two and Jay Schroeder. The only thing that saved us was we managed to pick Jay off 4 times, which helped offset the 363 yards he threw for. Eric Williams got a lot of heat on him as well netting 4 hurries and 3 sacks. We were looking real bad for this game down 24-16, Green Bay ball with 4 minutes left. Then we managed to pick Jay off on third and long and there was hope. 4 plays and 41 yards later Larry Centers was in the endzone. Time for a two point conversion, Barry starts right, jukes left and outraces Darryl Williams to the corner of the endzone. We kick the ball off and wouldn’t you know it, same result, 3rd and 4 Jay throws another pick. This time we only need 1 play to cover 30 yards to McCardell and we’re up 7. We kick the ball off and play it again Jay, third down one last interception.
Final: 31-24 W (8-1)

We lost RG Joe Milinchik for 3 weeks with an upper body injury

Week 11
at Minnesota (3-6) (-11)
Passing: Favre 21-40 260 2 td
Rushing: Sanders 21-87 1 td
Receiving: McCardell 6-99 1 td

We came, we saw, we taketh away. Outside of Chris Doleman’s 4 sacks the Vikings really didn’t do much today. They were down so much so early that Herschel wasn’t able to get going and two late picks by backup Adam Scioli only sealed the deal as we won going away. Nothing really amazing to report, we just got a lot more penalties, 13 today to go with the 11 last week. We are now the 6th most penalized team.
Final: 31-10 W (9-1)

Week 12
vs Baltimore (2-8) (-13)
Passing: Favre 14-22 216 1 td
Rushing: Sanders 35-104 3 td
Receiving: McCardell 5-94 1 td

Today we welcomed number 1 pick Drew Bledsoe to the dome and I don’t think he’ll quickly forget this trip. I think Baltimore’s drive summary sums it up nicely.
Quar Began Poss From Plays Yards Result
1 10:43 2:53 OWN 20 3 8 Punt
1 6:52 2:56 OWN 8 5 -4 Punt
2 14:07 2:08 OWN 30 3 3 Punt

4 5:46 1:31 OWN 23 5 2 Punt
4 1:00 1:00 OWN 16 2 24 Game

We only managed 4 sacks, but Bledsoe was getting knocked around all day. This was a solid effort all around against a team that we should beat handily. The only downside today was the play of Barry. While he did get his 100, he didn’t get it gracefully, averaging less than 3 yards a carry.
Final: 37-0 W (10-1)

Week 13
vs Philadelphia (8-3) (-3)
Passing: Favre 18-43 171
Rushing: Sanders 20-53 1 td
Receiving: McCardell 6-77

Now it’s time to see where we stand as we welcome the Eagles and Herman Moore to town. This is a huge game as we haven’t really beaten anyone that good so far this season, so a win here would go a long way. The game started off promising with our first two drives ending in points. At the half we were up 10 nothing in a hard fought battle. Unfortunately in the second half, Randall Cunningham decided that he wasn’t going out like that and led three long, methodical scoring drives to put the Eagles up 3. We didn’t have an answer today. Reggie White, Eric Swann and Seth Joyner put lots of heat on Favre, forcing a lot of bad passes, this was a game we could have won and should have won if we are to contend for a championship this year. We are a lot like the 91 Lions who went 12-4 but got bounced when they came up against good competition.
Final: 13-10 L (10-2)

Week 14
at Cleveland (9-3) (-1)
Passing: Favre 21-28 265 3 td
Rushing: Sanders 23-73
Receiving: McCardell 6-130 1 td

This game made me feel a little better about our chances. The Browns are a solid team, led by Bernie Kosar, Terry Kirby and Charles Haley and we went into the Dog Pound, in December and kicked them right in the teeth. Even though Kosar went over 300 yards, he was sacked 6 times and completed less than 50 percent of his passes. Meanwhile Favre had a great day, throwing 3 touchdown passes and managing the game well.
Final: 24-11 W (11-2) And we are now Central Division Champs!!! We are tied with Dallas for homefield and have a 3 game lead on Saint Louis for a bye.

Week 15
at Chicago (7-6) (-7)
Passing: Favre 19-24 222 2 td
Rushing: Sanders 25-97
Receiving: McCardell 6-103 2 td

The good news is we punted only once and didn’t turn the ball over. The bad news is that we only scored two touchdowns. That is precisely the formula you need to have your kicker win game MVP and player of the week. Check out the drive summary.
1 12:33 2:39 OWN 34 5 22 Punt
1 4:13 4:20 OPP 30 6 12 Field Goal
2 11:40 4:27 OWN 20 9 62 Field Goal

3 15:00 4:50 OWN 43 9 32 Field Goal
3 2:37 2:33 OWN 20 6 52 Field Goal
4 13:51 4:04 OWN 38 6 25 Field Goal
4 9:06 0:16 OPP 15 2 15 Touchdown
4 7:42 2:39 OPP 19 6 19 Touchdown
4 2:46 0:40 OPP 12 3 2 Field Goal
4 1:00 1:00 OPP 8 2 -12 Game
Norwood drilled 7 field goals, 7! On the other side of the ball we really held Tomczak and Anderson in check and the game was pretty much always in hand. We finally held Dent without a sack as Howard Ballard dominated that individual battle. Elsewhere Houston lost again to run their record to 0-14, equaling the 76 Bucs. They have games against the 6-8 Cardinals and 8-6 Colts remaining, exciting football in Houston.
Final: 35-17 W (12-2)

Week 16
vs Cincinnati (7-7) (-11)
Passing: Favre 14-17 307 4 td 1 int
Rushing: Sanders 34-161 1 td
Receiving: McCardell 6-155 2 td

We are really rolling into form now. Even though we were unable to sack Boomer, we held him to 121 yards passing on a 13-29 evening. Carl Pickens and Anthony Carter were neutralized as we ran away with another game. Elsewhere Dallas won and Houston got crushed.
Final: Lots – Few (38-3) W (13-2)

Week 17
vs Green Bay (9-6) (-7)
Passing: Favre 16-22 184 2 td
Rushing: Sanders 31-151 1 td
Receiving: Carter 5-71 1 td

This game really wasn’t as close as the final would indicate. We gave up three late long scoring drives in the 4th quarter to make it interesting when most of the backups were playing but the final result was never in doubt. Again Sterling Shape went off catching 9 for 146. He only has two more years on his contract and I might go after him in a trade this offseason because I am sick and tired of him killing us. Elsewhere Dallas crushing Washington so we finish the season tied for tops in the NFC, I’m not sure who holds the tie breaker but we’ll find out shortly. As for Houston, behind a team of nobody’s they went out, iced Indianapolis and allowed Tennessee to win the division. Warren Moon should be taking all those guys out to dinner for getting him back in the playoffs.
Final: 33-25 W (14-2)
