Or how about Amazon? How do you get products on there? I know they have preferred book sellers that they use. Do they do that with other items?

Yes they do, it's almost Ebayesque, but I don't know what their rules are for food or beverages....It is something to look into Flasch....

Okay, I got my order on Thursday, thanks for the prompt shipment!

When I got my package, I was surprised at how heavy the box was. I love the burlap sack you use to package your tea by the way so great first impression.

So today I finally brewed some and oh my god, it was sooo good! It's perfectly sweetened (for me anyway). Ant likes his a little sweeter so we added about a teaspoon of Vanilla Agave Nectar and it took it to a different level.

You have a great product there Flasch, I'll be ordering some more soon for my relatives in So. Cal.

dola,

and the cheat brewing card is great too, without it I'd have to guess how to brew the stuff.

Im glad you like it.

Id love to get it better marketed but the lack of money or risk tolerance is too scary, right now. So I guess im banking on some word of mouth right now and my tiny webads, although I have yet to click activate on the yahoo one eventhough its setup. I dont know why except I check my bank account a lot

here's Ezekial's Myspace page:

Word of mouth got you a long-term customer in the speech therapist at the elementary school I work at. I buy the McDonald's Sweet Tea in the morning, as I normally need the energy (and at a buck, it's damn cheap). She saw it and we got to talking tea. Even though I hadn't been able to buy some of this to try it, I recommended it to her (for her husband).

Now, he swears by the stuff.

on the heels of your blogging stuff, I have a guy who is going to integrate a blog section of the site so that Ezekial will be able to blog and perhaps that's where I can see some benefit to twittering (which is ridiculous if you ask me).

Glad you like the tea my friend and the shout out is much appreciated

EDIT: I didnt get you your buck back but I sent you a crap load of tea (I think like 48) or something....hope that evens it up.

Just arrived home today to find that my first order of Mr. Brewman's sweet tea is here AND the wife already whipped up a batch. I'm a sweet tea snob and I thought it was awesome! Really, really good and reminds me of my childhood in NC. The one change I will make is I'm a 'rot your teeth it's so sweet' iced tea guy so I'll add a touch more sugar but it is damn good. The wife, who is also picky about sweet tea, loved it as well. Nice product Flasch!

What Cuervo said, but, it's much better than the pansy ass tea they try and peddle out on the west coast with lemon...god that is some aweful tasting tea.

Go to a Chick F Lay (however it's spelled) and order a sweet tea. If you don't like it, Pumpy will refund your money.

I can't stand tea with only sugar in it, the lemon gives it some bite.

Lemon with sugar isn't bad. I like to drink Arnold Palmers. It's when it's just lemon and tea that is just absolutely horrible.

I've learn to like it that way, since it's much more healthy then with sugar.

Ok, less of a smart-assed answer:

Quote:
Sweet tea is a form of iced tea in which sugar or some other form of sweetener is added to the hot water before brewing, while brewing the tea, or post-brewing, but before the beverage is chilled and served.

I don't drink it anymore (the low-carb thing), but real sweet tea is really really good.

Sugar is good for you. If it wasn't, it wouldn't taste so good.

Understood about the Rot your teeth comment BUT I had to make a judgment call at one point during the recipe process that at some point I'd be pushing out too many people out of the center of the bell curve (lets call it) so I brought it some back to center, If you know what I mean.

Glad you like it!!!

Can't stand lemon in tea. It is a pain the butt to get restaurants not to put lemon in tea. Totally ruins a glass.

Ok it has arrived and wife says it is good stuff. She normally makes her own but said this is just as good/better than her homemade tea, and is easier to make.

I've always loved tea, but now that I'm getting away from buying soft drinks except for the occasional one at a restaurant, I'll be getting a lot more tea. This stuff looks really good, so I will probably order some when I get paid next weekend.

so i received a feeler from someone who might want to buy this whole thing from me. I have no idea what to value it at since I hadnt thought about it and I know the potential is there to be huge but I dont have the investment capital to push it there....clueless.

As in the entire business? Will you be asked to continue running it for a period of time? Are they just buying your brandname or the recipe?

Sorry, immediate questions that popped to mind from a legal perspective.

Valuation is generally a question for accountants and experts in that field. It would relate to things like your current revenue, profit and estimated future earnings.

Just as long as 10 years from now, they aren't interviewing some guy standing in front of the 10,000th opening of a 'Mr Brewman's Sweet Tea Shop' and he is talking about how he bought the original recipe for $50 off some guy...

That would suck.

Not sure how profitable this is for you, but if it brings in a little bit, the offer isn't that outstanding and you like doing this.. I'd say pass for now and see what happens.

Ditto. Now if he wants to invest in you, that might be a consideration if you feel the business can truly grow. Of course, if the offer is stupid money, you should consider it (and send me some).
