Have any of you tried this site? We bought the app for the iPhone last night and watched the informational video. It's almost like it's Google 2.0. Last edited by Raiders Army : 04-30-2010 at 01:25 PM. |

All I know is that the iPhone app is now $2. It was something like $50 when it first came out. Is it worth it?

From what I can tell, the website does the same things as the app...so yeah, it's worth $2.

I think it can be more or less useful than Google, depending on what kind of information you are looking for.
If it's something that is easily put in a database, then WA is a good way to go. If it's general information regarding a subject you know little about, WA is the way to go. For a specific piece of information where you know what you are looking for, Google is probably much better.

its pretty damn amazing if used correctly, it takes a bit to learn the correct way to search and what not (i dont even know most of it) but man is it cool the stuff you can learn from it blows you away.

I always forget about this site. I'm also certain there is probably a thread about this osmewhere, but I don't feel like looking.

I enjoyed looking at the weather from the day and place I was born. There was a large snowstorm, evidently.
