Of course, as soon as hoops subs into the game there will be only one thing people can say...

Not sure of my availability towards the end of the week (as I'm buying a house on Friday), but I'll play.

More importantly, I can take out two rivals with one vote if I vote Danny early. Nice...

Back from a week of ultrafood poisoning and a 101 fever OMG that was horrible. I blame the lycanthropy.

This sounds interesting. I'll try it.

Interesting theme, EF. I have to get into the habit of skipping every other game or so, so I don't get my attention taken away from work too often, otherwise I would play. I'll be following along, though.

Game will begin on Tuesday. I will get the roles out Monday evening.

I was hoping for a 15th player so that we could have 5 even teams. I will try to rework a bit so we can go with 14 and we'll have 7 two player teams (or I'll stay with 5 teams (one with 2 players) but add a rule that someone from the 2 player team can't be lynched on day one).

EF, I would PM some players who haven't played in a while and maybe don't visit this part of the forums often.

Excellent, I'll sign you up. Welcome aboard.

I'll get the rules out tonight. Will still take other signups as I can adjust it outward for more than 15.

We're definitely starting tonight!!!

I will post when the signup period is over and will begin sending out the PM's at that point.

15 was the best minimum (in my estimation), I can adjust this outward if we get any more signups by tonight so that won't be an issue of others signup.

Signup Over.

Going to start building the teams and handing out roles. This may take a little while so be patient, everyone will receive a PM.

We'll have 5 teams of 3.

The ceremonies have begun but we fast forward to the parade of the athletes. The first country is about to enter the stadium...

The first team begins to enter the stadium...

The crowd cheers politely as Team Germany makes their way into the stadium.

Thomkal leads his team into the stadium with the flag. He is followed closely by MartinD and Autumn.

They look prepared for the games and expect a high medal count.

Another team is entering the stadium...

The crowd cheers politely yet again as the flag comes into view, Team Russia enters the stadium.

Poli leads him team into the staduim with the flag, he pauses to point at someone and declare "I must break you". He is followed into the stadium by ntndeacon (who seems to have silent determination on his face) and Telle.

They look prepared to do battle.

The crowd comes to life a bit more as the next team enters, it looks to be Team Sweden and they brought some of their bikini team with them to cheer on their athletes.

J23 leads his team into the stadium with the flag. Darh Vilus enters followed closely by PurdueBrad. PurdueBrad stops and glares towards someone in the stands, we believe that is EagleFan who is getting the glare but we are not quite sure.

They look ready to follow the bikini team back to the hotel, and then do battle.

The applause grows louder in in anticipation... another team enters the stadium...

Team USA makes it's way into view and much of the crowd erupts into applause. The rest of the crowd gives them a mixed but polite welcome.

Danny enters the stadium first with the flag. He is followed by Lathum and Passacaglia.

They look ready to dominate, but will they?

The crowd thunders to life, they know who is entering the stadium now. Their home favirotes.

Team Canada enters the stadium to a thunderous applause.

Schmidty leads the team in carrying the flag (pride in his eyes). HE is followed closely by KWhit and CrimsonFox.

They look ready to Own the Podium.

Oh, just an FYI. All roles and teams are being determined by random.org. This is the first time that I have used that approach entirely with picking the players/roles. That means, read nothing into the teams or roles. Also, the wolf/village roles haven't been determined yet (about to do that), the team breakdown has nothing to do with wolf/villager.

For the record, so there is no meta-game play.

You all watch and wait and the ceremony reveals a confusing mix of native dance and song. Then it is time, the torch lighting ceremony.

The torch makes it's way into the stadium. As the final member of the famous olympic torch relay reaches his place on he floor a malfunction causes everyone to wait just a little longer.

Finally the torch rises above the floor and recieves its flame. A few tears are shed by the Canadian team as they hear...

"Let the Games Begin!!!!!"

Day One Event:

Downhill Skiiing - This event combines strength and stamina. Those who have that ability will gain an edge. The event is an individual event but the team that has the winning participant will gain an advantage forday/night one. Each team must select a member of their team to receive that advantage.

Team bonus - One member of the winning team will either gain a 25% hance of avoiding a night kill (if vanilla villager) or a 25% better chance of avoiding a bodyguard block (if a wolf).

Effort and team decisions (who will get the bonus if a team member wins) are due via PM with the same dealine as the lynch.

Just wanted to clear things up with the events. Everyone will compete each day/night. It is up to each person indivdually to determine how much of their available effort they want to use up on a given event.
