yep, I could talk about this topic for hours. Hannah is only 8 months old, but already we can see big differences between her and Graham (3 1/2). Graham is very non-adventerous - hard time getting him on slides and swings and stuff. Hannah seems to be the brave one (she's been standing with the aid of furniture for months now and seems like she wants to walk). she's also much mellower, and doesn't have any issue going to sleep and eats like a horse. and yet there's also a ton of similarities between the two...and between the kids and us. such a weird thing. I am so much like my father it isn't funny. I feel bad for my kids.

he's got a wicked combover.
Seriously, I'm amazed at how much hair he has. James and Catherine are almost 7 months now and don't have nearly as much hair. They're just as cute as he is, though.. which means me's an incredibly cute kid. Great smile.

He's been at home for only two days, and the first night went pretty well... as he was born three weeks early the first 12 days was spent in hospital with me sleeping at home. Ask me again in a week...

Thanks... I don't think I did a proper announcement, only mentioned it in my dynasty thread, so it was easy to miss.

hehe, I've seen similar to those at Wal-Mart, very cute... Matthew (21 months old) and Andrew (8 and a half year old) will BOTH be costumed as Darth Vader this year Andrew's been set for a long time and then I came upon a toddler Vader costume and couldn't resist. Should have picture available at some point... FM

Just sent my little Vader out for the first of three (!) costumed appearances about an hour ago myself. If the early October Halloween stuff down at Disneyworld was any indication, there'll be a ton of Vaders this year, with various member of The Incredibles running a close second.

My 3 year old is going as "Luke Skywalker with a blue lightsaber." His emphasis, not mine. He is going with his 9 year old cousin who is dressing up as Darth Vader, so I am interested to see how this plays out.

What do I need to do to resize my pics? I've tried resizing the pixels, etc., but when I put it in the message, it ends up huge. It's basically the same size, regardless of whether it's the original pic or the smaller, resized pic. Any thoughts?

Not sure what you mean. If you're talking about having your pics on a webspace and linking them here, resizing will not work too well. I have my pics sorted with picasa (picasa.google.com) and it allows me to export it to a new size. You could also use irfanview, a freeware image viewer which allows you to resize and save under another name. Once resized, that's the picture that I upload to my photobucket account. FM

That's what I've done. I resized the pics with my own software, then upped them to my villagephotos account. And the pics are small when I view them. But when I ty to post them here, they get gigantic. When I put them in the "insert image" thing, they end up larger than the width of the page. If I posted them, they would expand the size of the thread. I don't get it.

That's what you've done? hrm... you sure you're uploading the exported pics? Not taking you for a fool, but I know picasa exports the pics with the exact same name except in its own directory... FM

No, it's the right pic. I can tell by the size. the original was 337KB, and the one I tried to post was around 50KB.

This is the best I could do. I had to do the resizing on villagephoto. It lost some quality, but it's not huge.
Anyway, this is a recent pick of Caitlin and Mackenzie.
