I already know I made mistakes with the draft file. I'll need to trade players that were drafted in certain slots to the teams that held picks in those slots. I didn't realize it until just now, because I always forget to check my PMs to see what picks were swapped.

I'm going to lobby hard to get rid of draft pick trading. The game doesn't do it effectively and it's too much accounting for me, even with someone sending me transcribed notes of which picks go where. It's a nice intention, but it's just a pain and it'll keep causing problems year after year.

I think I have only made one trade involving draft picks, so you won't see me crying if draft pick trading goes.

muns, however, might go catatonic.

Nah, im good with it going away if its for the future. Its a pain to keep track of. I know!!! I have to do it every year, and overall I just dont think its worth the hassel.

I am for however being able to trade within that year because the game keeps track of that, and its not any more work than a normal player for player deal.

I think DC is wanting to get rid of draft pick trading period because even trading within the same year is causing him grief.

+1

I also agree with DC and believe it is best to that all draft pick trading not be allowed now because it does not handle it well enough. It has no way to differentiate what pick to trade if a team has multiple picks it appears.

I didnt realize that was occurinng, otherwise I wouldnt have been vocal about keeping it. Im all for getting rid of it now. Just way to messy, and its asking a lot from DC which I dont think is fair.

Well because of cap contraints it will be a very interesting year for Brooklyn as I do not want to release any players and am going to be barely over the cap. That said I am going to shake up my Rotation and go with a 23 man roster, I am interested to see how this unfolds.
