Nice signing Goose. That upgrades your pen alot

Also liked the deal for New York. Betancourt was solid in RG. Got no run support at all when he pitched. Hopefully Cringers luck wont follow him over to you

Cringer titles 1........ Muns 0.......... id rather have his luck

Not an innings eater, but I think this signing will do a lot toward firming up my plans for a decent season. 3 good seasons with Rio Grande with nice strikeout totals.

75 in 75!

Whoa! I didn't think that would happen this sim. Its nice to have some cash to flash, one of the best things about taking over an AI controlled team in a cap league.

I have been able to keep a steady lineup over the past few years, only having to fill holes at 2B and one in the OF through FA. I've been able to focus on my bullpen and finding that 4th and 5th starter to shore up the rotation. Unfortunately I missed out on Betancourt and have to look elsewhere.

This signing has the potential to be one of the better signings over the past few years. Perez is still in his prime and has had consistent offensive performances over the years.

I only usually profile the big contracts, because I want to hurry up and get the file out. Sooo...I dunno if you got your targets, but hey, if you feel sad, go look at those championship rings. I'm sure they'll make it alllll better.

For anyone who missed out on a 4th or 5th starter not named Atlanta, I still have the guy from my trade block SP George Crawford available. Won 18 games 2 seasons ago and an ERA below 4.00 last two seasons!

Thanks. Although I'm kinda miffed that I coulda gotten Perez back for not too much more. If you get him for me, you can have Myer plus a couple million. :P

I'm glad I landed Myer, though. I was really worried about that hole in my infield.

Anyone else really like Perez?? I think its a nice deal for NY and should bolster his lineup, but I dont see him coming close to having the same type of years here in the majors... Anyone think he hits over .250???

Im always horribly wrong, and I might be here, but im trying to learn here to, so this is kinda a selfish question with other motives

But I have a few extra bullpen pieces that you could use to shore up your bullpen. Just kidding, your bullpen is excellent. Did you lose anybody good from there this offseason?

I think Perez has nice crossover potential in our league. He won't do what he did in the VL, but he doesn't need to be, to be an impact player.

Nah, this was the first year I could keep everyone if I wanted to and I chose to keep everyone except ummmm my outfielder Hsin-Ping Lan... You know us deep south boys, trying to get rid of all of the non-americans from the team.

Shit, I'm stupid. For those who made trades, I gotta run another file. You can check this one out, but don't export or anything. It'll just be a minute. Also, check your messages and make sure they work.

I don't think he is going to be an excellent player, but should be productive. I think he could hit in the .260-.270 range, with some power and ability to get on base a bit.

Is anybody else having trouble getting the file? Is it because DC is uploading a new one?

Yeah, that's why. It's halfway done. Sorry. I spaced the trades. Probably because I was talking on the phone when I was running the file tonight. Oh well...

This happened in the last file too. I think DC said that if they played in the VL league previously that OOTP would let them go back??? DC had to go back and put em back into our FA pool. It happen again?

Apparently, Tien went back down there. I can't turn it off until the pre-season. And I don't want to confuse things by uploading another file. Maybe someone should've offered Tien some actual money and he wouldn't ply his trade in the VL.

Seriously though, I'll turn it off next pre-season to ensure the VL can't sign our guys. In the past, that league would never consider it. But I think the teams there had just enough money to pick off a few of our prized guys. In some ways, I kinda like it, it's funny..but..in a more realistic sense, it's irritating and that's not what they're there for.

So tomorrow night, Tien will be back on the market. And I'll set the VL not to allow roster changes until I can make the change to prevent them from signing former VL players, which is what the league was doing. It's just never been an issue before. But at least now we know it's happening. It was just my fault when I first set it up that I forgot to click "do not allow players from other leagues" or to allow our FAs to leave our league. But now I know to do it.

W00t.

How do we see who we signed? None of the transaction logs even mention two guys I signed, but they are on my team. I can't remember the names of a couple other guys I offered to, so I'm not sure if I have them or not, or where they might have signed. Emails give no help either, as I see replies to teams that aren't mine from guys I didn't offer.
