But I am a Clippers fan first (in basketball), and everyone knows about them. I was a diehard Rams fan before they betrayed us fans here, so I have that negative. And UCLA football is huge for me, and they are constantly in a state of suck.

So it's not all golden.

Oh yeah, on my Galaxy can't even win with Beckham, and my Boro in the EPL can't seem to compete with the big boys.

Well if we go to the college level... I had 1990 for Tech football... basketball has pretty much always been Duke/UNC ragtoys though. I can't follow you into the soccer teams though.. I wouldnt even know where to start.. I don't even know if Atlanta had a soccer team in my 21 years there.

Sheesh, get a load of Anthony spending the cash. Why didn't you do that with enough time to get them into the lineup this year?

14 games against the bottom 3 teams in June. Plus 5 vs Baltimore. Time to knock this one out big time.

Looks like this is going to be an interesting year. No dominating teams, lots of good teams (at least in the CL).

well, my thinking was to sign them to 2 year deals so that i have them in place for next season. hopefully i can resign C Palmer at season's end for next year. my plan worked out successfully otherwise. worse case scenario is i have trade commodities. one can always use trade commodoties.

After finishing with a losing record the last two years after winning a title, a step up this year for us is just having a winning season. I knew we'd be thin on pitching, but we're a lot like the Angels to some degree now that I think about it. We had to really change the complexion of the team since our title winning days to get back to the promised land.

But given how bad this franchise was for as long as it was, I'm just amazed we've made it this far.

You had the room, so why not. Plus, look at your team, they're doing pretty good. Trying to eat and have your cake, too, eh?

I never seem to ever have anyone on these midseason stat thingies. I like to think it's because I am deep.

Max Ewart of Baltimore threw the first no-hitter in 3 years against the Toronto Osprey on May 31, 1978. He pitched 10 INNINGS and struck out 9 with just one walk. It's the first 10 inning no-hitter in FOOL history.
