Well that was a pretty bad August! I'm actually now in danger of my worst record in Valdosta history.

Well, I can't seem to move up at all so I may be down here with you for a bit. A few good seasons i n Rio Grande is down the drain, as I was exactly a .500 club heading into this season. Now the franchise is easily in the sub-.500 winning percentage area.

I'm excited for the Hartford v. Baltimore battle. An ol' school FOOL matchup is just what we needed.

WOW - Long Island has 5 All-Stars!!

Joe Smith - the guy who was the biggest question mark going into this season, the guy i talked up a storm about, the guy i dropped from #2 in the lineup due to consecutive 150+ strikeout seasons to #5. nice to see that pan out.

and kudos to me for picking up 2B Daniels. i loved his eye and gap ability. i had him way down in the lineup, nice to see he was able to make it happen. now with us picking up that 2B right before the season started...wow, big things going on in Long Island. exciting times. Hartford better relish the taste of champagne, i don't think they'll be tasting it often after this season is over.

Joe Smith - the guy who was the biggest question mark going into this season, the guy i talked up a storm about, the guy i dropped from #2 in the lineup due to consecutive 150+ strikeout seasons to #5. nice to see that pan out. and kudos to me for picking up 2B Daniels. i loved his eye and gap ability. i had him way down in the lineup, nice to see he was able to make it happen. now with us picking up that 2B right before the season started...wow, big things going on in Long Island. exciting times.
