Still, September is usually brutal to us. I'm not holding my breath with that slim margin.

Wednesday, September 12th, 2029: Núñez Big Deal in Hartford: Hits for Cycle
Harpooners center fielder Albert Núñez had one of the best days of his career today when he hit for the cycle and paved the way for the Hartford 14-7 win over the Hammersmith Hooligans at Harpooners Ballpark. He shelled them for 4 hits in 5 at-bats, collected 4 RBI and scored 2 runs.

A. Núñez hit a three-run home run off D. Retter in the 2nd, struck out in the 3rd, tripled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 8th.

Núñez is swinging at a .240 pace on the year with 11 home runs, 54 RBIs and 51 runs scored. He has played in 143 games.

Oh and one thing I've meant to ask. I have Eric friends and Zach friends, and some spell both/either/whatever with k's at the end. How is yours, so I don't butcher it.

Oh and if you guys don't know, I'm David/Dave/That idiot who won't stop posting during the season.

Looks like another barn-burner tonight!!!
i could really use a playoff spot to help salvage my day! The Mrs's car got put to sleep today and we spent the day visiting 7 different car dealerships looking for a replacement without trying to appear desperate!!!
So if guilt trips mean anything, *insert sad violin music here* I REALLY can't afford this car with 5 mouths to feed (I am no longer allowed to eat, myself) and making the playoffs is the SINGLE thing that could happen to salvage my day....

I thought there were two ex-Mrs?

But even still, I'm a sucker for a guilt trip. I'll share my playoff spot with you. As long as you realize tomorrow is a new day.

Seriously though, good luck with the car search! I understand it well (and the unexpected money issues that go with it). I hope some good luck and food comes your way soon enough!!!

Schedules favor Edmonton and Hammersmith to clinch the playoff spots
