Hartford ties it with Chico in the final game of the season to force a best of 3 playoff series between the two teams!

Hartford won the regular season series between the two teams 18-15, so will have home field advantage in the best of 3 playoff

Thursday, September 25th, 2031: Yang Goes Deep 3 Times
What did Yin-fat Yang eat for breakfast prior to his game against Tokyo? Whatever it was, it provided some surprising power as the Boston third baseman smacked three balls up and out of the park at Ballpark of Boston. His power surge sparked the Settlers to a 11-6 victory over the Cyclones.

He told BNN reporters, "When they throw it in your wheelhouse, you got a shot at a homer. I got three shots today and nailed them all."

On his 3-homer day he went 3 for 4, scored 3 times, drove in 4 and put his name in the league record book.

Y. Yang struck out in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Z. Geracimos in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off J. Cota in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off B. Fugosi in the 7th.

Yang is hitting .324 in 2031 with 123 RBIs and 16 home runs.

The game is tied 5-5 going into the 8th inning....

Dionisio Couarde and Elian Feliz hit back to back RBI singles off of Chico reliever Declan Eddie to win the game 7-5.

Hartford has clinched a playoff spot!

Yeah, but then I beat Hartford two out of three as well. What you 'plainin' 'bout?

Awful season for the Hooligans. I haven't seen the file yet, but I know we're a ton better than our record indicates. -9 Pyth record. A mystifying 36-45 at home. 0-6 in X-innings. 8-20 in one run games.

I guess I'll take my high draft pick and figure on a short turnaround for us.
