Ok, minus the commute part. I'm still in bed. Life it too hard for me today.

But if I HAD commuted to California I would totally be hanging out with Chief right now!

P.S. I bet if I had driven to Cali this morning this sim still probably would have been going on when I got there.

I was just wondering if you were already heading out there to focus on Napa Valley for the next FOOL season. I figured you abandoned St. Cloud pretty quickly this season. No wonder they don't feel much loyalty to yoU!

Pain sucks till it hurts. The way I handle pain is OOTP and anything else I can do to wrap my brain around something besides the pain. Little harder to do with a migraine though.

I don't pick favorites, I dislike you all! It is totally ok for you all to pick favorites if you want! Go ahead and trash talk Spring, I know you want to. (Kind of hard to trash talk Waikiki.. they would be like.. "oh ok.. I'll just go to the beach")

Sometimes OOTP brings me pain.

You are awesome though and compared to you I have NOTHING to complain about.

Cool awards again, Alan. As for a name, I suppose FOOLies is a possibility, although I'm not too keen on that one. Unfortunately, I am drawing a blank on other possibilities right now. The creative part of my brain usually doesn't turn on until after lunch.

Hi folks, sorry I missed a great show today. It was a fun read! Even better, my Lions hung on for a postseason spot, besting my meager expectations for the team. Teach, I hope your head is feeling better now, too.

Even though we don't have any openings in either league right now, I still like to keep our name around and to advertise the fun we have here over in OOTP land every so often.

I put up a FOOL "recruiting" post over on the OOTP forums. Even though the focus is more to inform people about our leagues than to actually recruit, feel free to drop in and give a good word if you so are moved!

I've been thinking about this all day if my half dead state and the best I could come up with is:

The Fool's Gold Awards

Thanks! I think it's cute because the awards are "fake" (and we're always talking about "fake baseball") just like the "gold" and it brings to mind things like gold medals (which are awards) and it incorporates the name FOOL.

Yup, it was a neat double entendre, IMO.

I like yours also Teach. I started my sentence before you post your suggestion, but I had to play dollies again and didn't refresh before I finished.

Ahaha, have you taken my advice and started naming them after fake baseball players and make them all be a part of a baseball team?

She won't buy into girl dolls being named Gil Fields or any boy name for that matter. Hopefully the doll stage is almost over for dad. How's the headache coming BTW?

I wasn't kidding about feeling like death. This is awful and I can't miss any more work over it.

Also, tell her she needs to use her imagination and think outside the box. How old is she?

She is only 2. She will be 3 at the end of November. She really doesn't have a box yet so we can't really get out of a box if we haven't been in it yet.

Fair enough. The good news is, when she's old enough to have neighbor friends and then friends from school, she'll much rather play dolls with them than you.
