I just don't believe that No Myths is a wolf. I don't see anyone playing such an obvious strategy to be a wolf.

I'm not sure that he is either, I just don't know who seems like he is a wolf.

I wonder why they haven't voted yet. Is one of them a wolf waiting to cast a swing vote on a villager?

Seeing both went guns blazing...and since there is a deadlock, I really can't decide between NoMyths and Shorty...cheese pizza is cooking for me.

Vote: Shorty

Don't really think it's NoMyths, Shorty got highly defensive, the only guy really defending him is BrianD, so I at least see a support group there, NoMyths no one has spoken up for, so I'm guessing he's just a lowly villager.

I've got a feeling that they are both lowly villagers. Maybe the reason nobody is really defending anyone (except for me, and I know I'm not a wolf) is that we are just completely off and haven't named a wolf yet. Is there anyone we haven't talked about that we should talk about?

Don't you think a wolf would be careful about defending them even if they were a wolf. I think it would cast too much suspicion. Therefore, I don't think we can take a lack of a defense as a sure sign that both are innocent villagers.

I'm utterly confused. This vote will help no one, but here goes.

Unvote NoMyths
Vote Neuqua

He quietly joined in when we were talking about people that were too quiet, voted for one of the bandwagon guys and then hasn't been heard from. I'm thinking he might be trying to avoid notice.

I'm thinking that losing a wolf this early is a serious victory for the villagers. The wolves wouldn't be able to allow this to happen.

OK, I was out all day, like I said I would be. I just read everything and it is quite confusing. I know where Shorty is because last game I was right there. I just don't thinnk I can vote for him because I know the torment it caused me. This is probably gonna backfire on me, but Aorhog has been realy quiet.

I Vote for Airhog

I guess you can say I won't be one of those who is going to use Werewolf to JeeberD my post count

Honestly it's just so early to make a decision one way or the other. I'm just gathering my own thoughts along with the rest of the communities.

But now it's on!

Same as NoMyths. NoMyths was quite the chatterbox as Shorty was being led to the gallows but, as the votes started up, I haven't heard word one from NoMyths to defend himself.

Of course, that could be because NoMyths is out for the night...

Of course, we could each just vote for ourselves and state "I vote for myself because I am the werewolf!"

Peregrine said any ties would be broken by picking the one with the best case state.. well, the best case stated would have to be the werewolf.. everyone else is just lying.

Talking started getting me hung. Seems like shutting up is the best option.

Been at a Charleston RiverDogs game tonight, though. Nothing like a little single-A baseball on a Friday night. Hitting the sack now, though...hope to see you guys tomorrow, unhung and uneaten.

Your group has heated discussions all through the day, but in the end it comes to voting, and Shorty gets the short straw. At the end, with everyone surrounding him, he starts to mount an impassioned defense of his innocence but is cut short by several people with knives stabbing him to death. Unfortunately, he is an innocent villager.

Votes:

Airhog - 3 (KevinNU7, Desnudo, Lathum)
Desnudo - 3 (condors, ntndeacon, Airhog)
NoMyths - 5 (Neuqua, Shorty, EaglesFan27, KWhit, Mustang)
Shorty - 7 (NoMyths, Swaggs, TazFTW, Jon, George W Bush, McSweeny, Qwikshot)
Neuqua - 1 BrianD

Night Turn 2

Jon
Swaggs
TazFTW
Airhog
NoMyths
Qwikshot
Neuqua
ntndeacon
McSweeny
Shorty - Lynched on Day 1 (villager)
Kwhit
Mustang
BrianD
Condors
Eaglesfan
GWB
KevinNU7
Desnudo
Lathum

Night draws close. I need PMs from the wolves, doctor, bodyguard, seer, and sorceror if I don't already have them.

Sorry Shorty. The one thing I dislike about this game is that someone has to die early, and it's usually an innocent since the rest of the people have nothing to go on.

I knew Shorty wasn't a werewolf. However someone had to be lynched this first day without any sort of clues to go on. It's really a coin toss as to who to choose. No hard feelings Desnudo. I didnt vote for you to be lynched because I thought you were a werewolf, so much as a didnt think Shorty or Nomyths was one. I guess I could have abstained from the vote, but that might have been construed as being suspicious.

I can tell you that abstaining is very suspicious. It comes off like you either can't vote for either candidate since you know something, or that you don't want to give anyone more analysis of your voting pattern. I expect the occasional missed vote due to RL considerations but abstain at your own risk.

Well, if this is so, here's a song in honor of your boldness, sung by the inimitable Chan Marshall:

Oh the werewolf, oh the werewolf
Comes a steppin' along
He don't even break the branches
Where he's been gone

You can hear his long holler from away 'cross the moor
That's the holler of a werewolf when he's feelin' poor

He goes out in the evenin' when the bats 're on the wing
An' he's killed some young maiden before the birds sing

For the werewolf, for the werewolf
Have sympathy
'Cause the werewolf he is someone
Just like you an' me

Once I saw him in the moonlight when the bats were a flyin'
All alone I saw the werewolf and the werewolf was cryin'

Cryin' nobody, nobody, nobody knows
How much I love the maiden as I tear off his cloths
Cryin' nobody, nobody, knows of my pain
When I see it has risen that full moon again

When I see that moon movin' through the clouds in the sky
I get a crazy feelin' an' I wonder why

Oh the werewolf, Oh the werewolf
Comes travelin' along
He don't even break the branches
Where he's been gone

For the werewolf have pity, not fear, an' not hate
'Cause the werewolf might be someone that you've known of late

Oh the werewolf, oh the werewolf
Comes travelin' along
He don't even crush the leaves
Where he's been gone

As if the werewolf wouldn't? Well, unless it was Airhog who seems to delight in declaring his wolven nature.

Never said a wolf wouldn't be miffed... just meant he sounded genuine in his defense. But.. whatever the reason we were both right in not voting for Shorty.. Us voting for NoMyths is to be determined.

I just realized that at this point Airhog has just about screwed me over.

Claiming to want to eat me randomly like that is going to bring everyones suspicions my way. Heck, if he had chosen ANY one else I would have my mind on them as being a possible werewolf too so I can't blame you guys.

I'm innocent though! Really! Don't sacrifice yet another one of yourselves!

Maybe it's the alcohol or maybe it's the late time of night, but I don't follow your reasoning.. Airhog's proclaimation that he is a werewolf and that he is going to eat you, puts my suspicion firmly on his shoulders.

Sorry Shorty, I know how you are feeling. Airhogs comments are very interesting. If Neuqua does get eatin first is it Airhog playing reverse psycology? although Neuqua voted for BrianD and he was the only one to do so, that always looks very strange to me, like either he knows something the rest of us don't or they are both werewolves trying to protect each other since neither of them were in much danger.

Easy there, BrianD voted for Neuqua, not the other way around. I really only did that because I wasn't feeling good about the Shorty vote. Keep in mind as well that I was the only one to say something in defense of Shorty. Actually, it wasn't in his defense, I just pointed out that nobody was trying to defend him so that must make him innocent.
