FOFC Racing - Camping World Truck Series - Season 1 - FINAL RACE POSTED
Welcome to Season 1 of the FOFC Camping World Truck Series. If you would like to sign-up, head on over to our sign-up thread. FOFC Racing Sign-ups The Truck Series is where the future stars of the FOFC Racing Series will get their start. Drivers that finish in Top 5 of the truck series point standings will get the opportunity to move up to the Sprint Cup Series if a spot is available. If the driver who finishes in the top 5's owner already has two drivers in the Cup Series, they will have the option to replace one of their Sprint Cup drivers with their Truck Series driver. Owners in the top 5 with no Cup drivers will get the first chance at moving up. Owners who already have one driver will have the opportunity to move up after owners with no drivers have taken their positions. Finishing in the top 5 does not guarantee a promotion, if the Cup drivers who finish in the bottom 5 only have 1 driver they will be demoted currently. The Truck Series will not have playoffs like the Sprint Cup Series does. We will have 10 races in the Truck Series with the leader at the end of 10 races being crowned champion. Make sure to also follow the Sprint Cup Series where the top drivers in the FOFC Racing Series race. If you would like to enter into the Truck Series, head on over to the sign-up thread. Current Sprint Cup drivers can also have Truck Series drivers. Bob Fulton and Dexter Jackson Jr. are ready to get going in the trucks. This is Bob's last chance at his dream of racing in the cup series, 46 year olds don't get too many chances.

THE PROMOTION SYSTEM
We now have 7 drivers in the Truck Series whose owners do not have a driver in the Cup Series. These drivers are Max Gresham, Connor Root, Chris Kizer, Will Kizer, Jeremy Letto, JR Fitzpatrick and Thomas Carrano. frow98 owns the cars of Gresham and Root. The Kizer is the owner of the Kizer brother's cars. Lord Letto owns Jeremy Letto and JR Fitzpatrick's trucks and thmscrrn3 is the owner of Thomas Carrano's truck. If any one of these drivers finish in the Top 5 of the Truck Series standings they will be eligible for promotion to the Cup Series. Only one driver for each owner will be eligible this season even if two finish in the top 5. Any driver that finishes in the bottom 5 of the Cup Series standings will be at risk for demotion. This season, however, we will only allow demotion of drivers whose owner has two cars in the series. If a driver finishes in the bottom 5 but only has one car in the Cup Series they will not be eligible for demotion. For future reference, past champions of the Cup Series will automatically be exempt from any demotions. |

Race #1 of 10 - Daytona 250 Results
What a race today to get the Truck Series started. 18 drivers swapped the lead 70 times in the 100 lap race. It was back and forth all day and somehow no caution flags flew. Gustav Nielsen found himself up front the most, leading 26 laps, but he was shuffled back at the end and finished 23rd. Jeremy Letto took the lead with only two laps left and held off challenges from B.L. Zebub to take the checkered flag.

Good lord. Lead 26 of 100 laps and finish third to last. C'mon Gustav. You're driving a Guinness car, you need to do better.
Magnus, we forgive. He's the B driver in the shitty Budweiser car. But if you're in a Guinness car, you're expected to perform. Last edited by Coffee Warlord : 05-18-2015 at 03:51 PM. |

Made one mistake on there, B Long is actually Bob Fulton. I'll get that fixed when I update tonight and post standings and highlights.

Thanks

As you will see in the video, I wasn't able to get the #01 for Qwikshot before the race so he is driving an unsponsored all black #01 car. Last edited by cmp : 05-18-2015 at 11:23 PM. |

Top tens from both Landon and Jack is a great way to start the season. Also good to see fellow RPM Garages driver Will Kizer in 5th.

Race #2 of 10 - Texas 250 Results
Connor Root looked like a guy who is determined to find his way to the Cup Series next season. After starting 11th, Connor moved his way up and led 98 of the days 167 laps on his way to the victory. Only two other drivers finished the race on the lead lap. Connor's teammate Max Gresham finished 2nd and Will Kizer finished 3rd. Jack Topper was 4th and Chuck Long finished 5th.
It was another clean race with only one caution and every driver making it to the checkered. Last edited by cmp : 05-20-2015 at 02:06 PM. |

What a points race. 3 tied in that 3rd spot. Chuck Long has been solid. He wants to take a spot from Kinnick or Grey.

What a finish for Payntor-Alaxaco Racing! Max and Connor both had great runs today in their sweep of the top 2. Hopefully they can carry on the momentum in following weeks.

What a great start to the season for Will Kizer. A 5th and a 3rd is awesome. If this keeps up he will be getting that Cup ride next year. Is it too early to start working on the Cup car?

Race #3 of 10 - Myrtle Beach 200 Results
Myrtle Beach, SC - Today we headed to the half mile short track in Myrtle Beach for the first ever running of the Myrtle Beach 200. On the pole for today's race was Chris Kizer. Kizer's brother Will is the current Truck Series point leader heading into the race and the Kizer brother's trucks look to have a lot of power. Early on Kizer led from the green flag and showed right away he would have a contending truck all day long. After leading for around the first 50 laps, Coy Duke in his #00 truck came up and took the lead. Duke started the day back in 11th and quickly moved his way up. Duke would lead for the next 58 laps before we hit green flag pit stops. His stop was a bit slow and he came out of the pits 3rd, behind new leader Max Gresham and Chris Kizer. Duke would never get higher than 3rd again. Gresham took control and that point and held off Kizer for most of the race. But, with 12 laps left, Kizer made a great move to the inside of Gresham to take the lead and looked to be on his way to victory. Gresham wasn't done however and took the lead back from Kizer only a few laps later and held him off the rest of the way to take the victory by 0.15 seconds. This is the 2nd straight win for Payntor-Alaxaco Racing after Connor Root won at Texas.
Homer Simpson, in the #33 Skoal car, owned by HomerSimpson98, made his debut today finishing 11th. Last edited by cmp : 05-26-2015 at 11:46 AM. |

Great to see Jack at the top of the points. If he keeps this up and finishes in the top 5 and Zach or Kellen struggle in Cup maybe I'll have him move up and take one of their rides.

Another win for Payntor-Alaxaco racing. Gresham showed he was a contender today, getting his first victory of the season. Root and Gresham are lurking in a solid 4th and 5th in the points, hopefully the good luck continues.

THis is so awesome - wish I would have found this earlier! Thanks for running this and letting me be apart of it.
Solid run for the Skoal truck in our inaugural run. The leaders need to tell those lapped car jerkoffs to get the F out of the way, dammit!! |

Race #4 of 10 - Michigan 200
The last few laps of this race felt like a superspeedway race the way drivers shuffled positions. Heading into the final lap, Gustav Nielsen had the lead but fell all the way back to a 9th place finish. The battle for the win ended up between Jackson Pace and J.R. Diamond. Pace, with 5 Cup races under his belt, was able to hold off the youngster Diamond to take the win. 14 drivers finished within a second of the lead. Connor Root, who led the most laps on the day with 47, finished 11th.

So Nicholson just isn't very good. Maybe that's to be expected from an 18 year old kid. Topper on the other hand is staying consistent and keeping on top of the points. And the two other RPM Garages drivers, the Kizer brothers, have both shown they can race so at least 3 of the 4 drivers in the team are running well.

Nice run for the 33 car. I wonder what my idiot driver did to drop from 3rd to 8th in 1 lap with 6 to go. Take the wrong line I guess, I dont know, but he did a great job in fighting back for a top 5 finish.

All-Star Race Announcement
After our 6th race of the season, the Coors 400 from Colorado, will be holding our very first ever FOFC Racing All-Star race from the Charlotte Motor Speedway. The race will feature all race winners from the FOFC Sprint Cup Series' first two seasons as well as all race winners from the FOFC Camping World Truck Series. The current entrants are listed below. Al Cohallik Bo Duke Benton Gale Comrade Twelve David Ginsberg Deacon Palmer Hawk Grey Jace Hunter Mustafa Henderson Patrick Hutt Rex D'Car Red Neckanback Rob Nielsen Stroker Ace Wallace Bryant Connor Root Jackson Pace Jeremy Letto Max Gresham The race will be a 40 lap shootout. The winner won't receive any points but will get bragging rights as the very first ever All-Star race winner as well as a cool $250,000 bonus to add to their career earnings. This will also give Truck Series drivers a chance to prove their worth against the Cup drivers. One more race for each series remains before the All-Star race so if drivers do not have a win yet they better get going at Colorado or Bristol. Drivers without a victory we also have one final shot at making it to the All-Star race. Before the race we will hold a qualifying race for both the Sprint Cup and Truck Series. These races will only include drivers who do not have a victory. The winner of each race will also gain an entry into the All-Star race. These races will be 20 lap shootouts. just wondering (Considering I have a driver in it), Will the Truck Drivers have to choose a Car for the All Star Race or will the Car Drivers need to choose a Truck? or will it be pre-determined what will be driven for who? if it's Truck Drivers choosing a Car, how do we go about choosing one considering it may only be a 1 time use if the driver don't get promoted at the end of the season? unless it's possible to have a 6th Promo Slot if it's a Truck Driver who wins the All-Star Race in a Car?

Right now my plan is to use cars from ones I have downloaded. If you a car in my mind that I can download I will get that one for you. I might even be able to get one painted in time if you have something in mind you like. It would just have to not be one of the numbers or sponsors already in our Cup series.

Well my Number in Trucks is 24 so it would be nice to have the 24 for the Cup Car for the All Star Race, the Cup Driver of the 24 isn't in the All Star Race and isn't doing very good in general, maybe if things go my way and I get promoted and if the current driver walks to a different Car/Team then maybe I could get the 24 when I start in the Cup Series, only time well tell though. |
