Browns taking Peppers. Good.

Setting up for the Steelers to swoop in and take Foster and he'll torture the Bengals for another decade.

re: Barnett to the Eagles -- I'd rather he ended up somewhere else (I still have some issues about anybody that brought Vick back to the league) but you got yourselves a good one there. He will get after it, over & over.

re: Engram to NYG -- cool that he gets to catch passes from Eli. Can do some remarkable things for a player at his position but at the next level I imagine it will take more creativity to get similar production from him.

Seahawks are going to land their prototype CB from UW, aren't they? King would make too much sense here.

Nevermind, WTF is Atlanta doing?

Really liking that Harris pick for the Dolphins, even if I wanted Lamp.

Do you guys think making the draft a 3 day ordeal leads to more trades at the end of the 1st round since there's a sense of finality to it after pick 32? Or is it just because of the contract system (5 years of control vs 4) that you see all these trades into the back end of the 1st round?

Contract year is huge there. If someone on your board has slid way beyond where you pictured it, that extra year could be worth a 3rd or 4th round pick to get them.

Could see the Bills going Njoku at TE.

Browns just got the 29 from GB for 33 and 108 this year.

McKinley getting amped. If you put him on the field right now he would get 2 or 3 sacks and 2 or 3 penalties in a matter of minutes, haha.

Not a QB? Did they make that move for Njoku when they've already got Barnidge on the roster?

Charlton always struck me as slow whenever I watched him, but he dominated against OSU, so he's got that going for him.

Pretty much right where Watt was expected to go. If he can stay healthy he'll be pretty good.

If Foster's shoulder is good and he doesn't get popped on another sample, the 49ers got a defense changing pair for their front 7.

So he has had some good late round picks that panned out but that is as much coaching as anything and he has jut on a few of his firsts like 2011 with Von Miller which was the second pick in the draft so hard to miss and 2015 Shane Ray was a gamble that paid off.
In Denver and maybe around the country Elway is great at the free agency game and doing "stuff" with the cap to make room for those players but he is hardly a strong drafter.

Saints take Ramczyk. I guess it was too much to hope he would last nine more picks to the Bengals tomorrow.

I think the Bengals are waiting for Mixon to fall to them in round 2, but I wonder who they would take between him and Cook.

Bengals have to get better along both lines. If they are depending on Ogbuehi and Fisher to be their tackles with the sieve that is Bodine at Center, it won't matter how many playmakers they have.

Not a Peppers fan at all. I also think Garrett is overrated. I like picking up another 1st and not jumping on a QB just because that's the position the guy plays. Njoku and Barnidge could be a great duo at TE.

I'll take the 49ers with the picks from the Bears for moving up 1 spot and the use of one of them to come back up and get Foster. If he's healthy, the combo of Thomas and Foster is amazing for a first round and they've still got an extra 3rd round pick this year and next.

Jags at 2.3 have a lot of O Line talent to consider, and I think CB King could be very temping as well if those above them pass

I don't really get the Browns trading up to get Njoku - he's got some upside sure but that was one of the few positions on a 1-15 team they were actually above league average at, and you aren't going to get the full benefit of the extra contract year on a TE who typically aren't getting monster contracts anyway.

Was sure it was for Kizer or Webb when I saw it, and while I don't think either of those are necessarily great prospects that would have made a little sense just for the logic of getting a QB on an entry level contract for the extra year.

I can kind of see it. Barnidge is 31, his breakout season was at age 30, and he has two years left on his contract. Probably saw a guy they felt would be the successor and grabbed him now. Could also be that Jackson either doesn't think Barnidge fits what he wants to do or that he had a fluke year he won't match again.

They've still got 7 picks to use.
