Ping: Detroit Tigers fans

Justin Verlander is pitching the night game of Monday's double header.

It took him just over 100 minor league innings to make it to the show.

A new era in Tigers history is coming, lead by Bonderman and Verlander.

I am pumped.

Is it wrong that I'd love his first pitch to be described as being hit "Too high" and long gone into The Reservation by the local broadcast crew?

Looking forward to see how he does.

Its not that far JeffNights, you should try to go if you can. I'm hoping Verlander really shuts down the Tribe (not that it's been hard for every other pitcher to do it).
