A 5-run fifth inning gave the Cardinals all of the juice they needed, as Nap Lajoie went 1 for 5 with 2 RBI in the win.

The Yanks get on the board and in a big way, as Rube Waddell wins his first post-season start and the Highlanders scored 5 runs in the sixth to put this one out of reach.

GAME 7: St. Louis 2, New York 1
The Cardinals clinched the 1901 World Championship by scoring two runs in the bottom of the 6th inning. Nap Lajoie went 1 for 4 with a run scored, Harry Howell got the best of the pitchers duel against Rube Waddell and came out with the victory.

The St. Louis Cardinals are 1901 FOOL-H Champions!

File is up. I'm gonna see if I can get the thing to let me do another draft, but chances are, the draft won't actually happen until next week, as I'll need to schedule it post-Classic for next year's players.

So here's the real schedule, but there won't be a draft this week so Wednesday is open.

Quote:
Monday/Tuesday: No sim/make up day for any cancelled sim.
Wednesday: Amateur Draft
Thursday: Free Agency Day 1
Friday: Free Agency Day 2/Spring Training
Saturday: Regular Season
Sunday: Playoffs

Congratulations to the Cardinals, although I would have preferred to beat the Yankees, myself!

With the way Tokyo let me down this season I'll gladly take a FOOLH Championship as a consolation.

Thanks DC for getting everything setup and making it through the first season.

As long as the Yankees don't win I'm happy. I'll be even happier when it's me taking them out, but I can live with this.

What sort of message are you all getting? It could be your internet connection? The server is up and running ok.

Starting an off-season thread.

What are your in-game FTP options showing currently?

Those look right to me. When you try to go to that link in a web browser does it work for you?

Also you did uncheck the box in FTP options that says "use FTP to download league file" correct? if it is checked, it won't work correctly.
