FYI, Tuesday is a day that Live is going to be down...possibly/probably all day. You may want to extend the deadline to Wednesday at 10 PM.

Kentucky played their final regular season game at 6-5 Cincinnati. The team made the mistake of looking at the BCS standings before the game started. They were distracted early and fell behind 17-14 and lost our starting HB for the game. Thankfully we got our heads on straight and ran it up on Cincy by a final score of 98-27. Trying to impress the AI voters is a fool's errand, but we tried to anyway. I had 600 yards through the air, evenly divided between my starter & backup. I had 2 defensive TD's and 2 kickoff returns for TD's (which matches the total number of kickoff return TD's I had in the first 11 games). I tried to make a statement but it doesn't really work when it's the AI voting and also when it's against a mid-level BCS team.

We're currently #4 in the BCS standings behind:

#1 Michigan (games remaining are at Army and vs North Texas)
#2 Stanford (game remaining is vs Cal)
#3 Boise State (!!!) (game remaining is at 1-10 Baylor).

As long as two of those teams lose, we'll be able to rematch Stanford for a shot at the BCS. I'm holding my breath as I wait for that to happen

We're currently projected to play against USC in the Rose Bowl. That would be an interesting matchup, as I've yet to play USC on any dynasty in NCAA 09. I'd much rather play a bowl game against a human (cough...Stanford...cough) but I lost that chance when I lost my week 4 game. Not looking for any pity, just talking out my season here

We will play LSU in the SEC championship game. It's nice to know that despite our non-conference loss, we are still in position to win the SEC for the third straight year. Hard to complain about that.

Anyone who still has to play should try to finish their game before Live goes down Tuesday morning. A lot of times when Live goes down it's not "up to 24 hours"...it usually ends up being over 24 hours. Hope we don't have to push the deadline back another day.

Good luck to everyone else this week & even better luck to Army, North Texas, and Baylor

I'll be getting my game in just after getting home from work tomorrow.

I think Amy has as much of a chance of beating Michigan as Army does

lol!

On a side note...

Stanford slapped Cal around in the big game last night. The score was 35-3 at halftime, and we sailed to a 63-35 victory as some catch up logic kicked in during the second half. For the second straight game we had 250+ rushing yards. This marked Andrew Luck's return to the field from his injury, though he was still a bit sore which caused a few of his throws to be off the mark. Hopefully missing the entire second half of the year will make him want to return for his senior year.
