Fatigue

What's the deal with pitchers pitching effectively on 2 days rest over the course of an entire season?

If we're playing without fatigue, can I have a 1-man rotation?

Fatigue is on High. Pitcher fatigue doesn't get included in that, though, as far as I understand it.

But I can change pitcher fatigue in a different setting. It's ALWAYS been set to average in this league, because it was channeling an old-school ethic where hurlers could go more than modern guys who need a million relievers and shit.

But that being said, I do think the league is tilted towards 3-man rotations unfairly probably and so, we can fix that pretty easily if people have a huge problem with it.

I don't like it, but I don't have a huge problem with it, now that I know the trick.

You get 3 stud pitchers like WIN has, pitching 54 games apiece, and not showing any ill effects at all. It just changes the complexion of roster building and resource allocation.

No, I'm changing it. Haha...it only lasted this long because I forgot about it. Like literally I was losing to it and still forgot that the setting was how it was. You reminded me, so I'm fixing the problem because it's really not fair. Haha...there's just not enough elite hurlers to make that work.

Trust me, everyday I kick myself for giving that team up.

Not really. But I do wistfully wonder what might have been.

So, what does the change mean? 4 man rotation, 5 man rotation?

We've always been at 5-man rotation. But with "Average" fatigue, it seemed to enable teams to trot out 3-man rotations during the regular season.

I've lowered it to "very low" which is like modern pitching standards, meaning that (in theory) you should have to carry a full rotation, as your guys won't be able to pitch as long and/or often as doing so with a 3-man.

I don't actually know though, we'll just have to see what it'll look like. But in theory, it should force teams to have more depth in their rotations.

That's a pretty drastic change from one season to the next

We can go from Average to Low, then. Since that's right in the middle of the two settings.

All of the minors (and apparently Winter League already set this way in the past) will have Very Low, though.

Four man rotations are kind of ridiculous, too. You should be allowed to do it, but the injury risk should go up by a factor of 10.
