I was the designated driver and my friends were drunk beyond belief so I didn't get to talk to her as much as I wanted to; I could see that my friends were pissing her off (which really pissed me off). I apologized for them and we were on our way. Though I had NO shot at all with her (and that is an understatement as she was so far out of my league), my version of the story is that my drunk friends cost me a shot.
