Bob Newhart is on!!!!

Bob is one of my favorite comedians ever. I respect him as a guy and his act. Since I don't have cable any more it was amazing to me to see he's doing an interview on the Ellen show. I'm so happy.

This guy is the best.

I'll relate my favorite Newhart joke. I don't remember what show I heard him say this on but I'll always remember the joke.

He said "scientists have amazingly discovered that there is life on Mars. The big question is are they more advanced than us and the answer is yes, they are. When questioned about how much more advanced than us they were, scientists said 'about two weeks' They got the disposable razor about two weeks before we did. "

He said it was his least laughed at joke but it's also my favorite. I really love this guy.

I concur that Newhart rocks. In fact when I saw the thread title, that Joke was exactly what came to my mind. Somehow I do think it lost a little in written translation. I am also pretty sure it was an interview of an astronaut who had just returned from discovering life on Mars. In any case Newhart is a very entertaining interview.
