Ahhhhhh my FORM!! :(
Ok, I NEED to know this.... are form changes (up or down) truly random? I know that if I train general, form generally goes up or training stamina makes it go down. But I heard if you train anything else, there is no other influence and if your players form goes up or down, its just random for the week. Is this true? Did I just have the worst luck ever this week? Hehe about 14 out of my 17 players had -1 or -2 in form this week, 2 players had no change, but my COACHES form went up +2!
Just bad luck or am I missing something?? Thanks

The only things you can do to positively affect form are:
1. Hire assistant coaches 2. Train general (not desirable) 3. Make sure all your players play in a match during a week Other than that, it's basically random and you have to live with the ebb and flow. |

I believe your coach's trainer skill also has an effect? At least it has for me since I hired a better coach.

Hmmm thats interesting. My coach sucks so I guess I need to save up to get a new one. However that is going to take forever because I only make money on home game weeks :\

There are other things you can do, like lower trianing intensity, but that's just not practical.
The coach part is speculation, and if it does effect form, it's a speck of sand in the desert. Make sure they play every week, and hope for the best. |

I guess its ironic then that my coach who never plays was the only one to gain form for me this week. Not even only one hehe, he got +2 :\

Ways to help a player's form:
Play him once a week (most important) Train at a higher % Have more asst coaches Have a better skilled coach Don't train stamina Be lucky (2nd most important) If form was completely random, everyone's average form would be weak/inad. I think form's distributed like a bell curve, but everything listed above helps push the center of the curve forward, so you're a lot more likely to have players in excellent/solid form than disastrous/wretched. That list is from the rules (well, the rules emphasize playing once a week, but they don't say it's the most important), so it isn't speculation. When I switched from a passable to solid coach, my form updates the next few weeks were +13/-2, and from some HT comments about the effects of an excellent coach on form, I wouldn't say that it's negligible.
