NFL.COM's Free "Live" Fantasy Football 2005.

Anyone had any experience with this?

Sorry, I haven't been around the Fantasy football world in a couple of years and by then it was all about selling the user an "Upgrade Package" for this feature and that Feature. I remember getting hooked on Sandbox for the first couple of free years and then switching over to Yahoo, untill I had pretty much lost every feature I played "Free" fantasy sports for.

I know the NFL had a FAntasy Football game last year, but I thought that was Pay only.

If I am reading the site correctly, you get Live scoring, Player emails, Injury updates, customized leagues settings , and Prizes in a Free Game?

I noticed that too. I've never tried fantasy football before, if this is really free I'll probably give it a shot.

Interesting ... a lot of these features were indeed pay last year. I wonder if the NFL is trying to give it all away for free to drive money away from the competitors.

Of course, "free" is relative. The NFL partners with Sportsline on this, and the advertising and spam e-mail you receive in conjunction with the league is truly unbelievable.
