John Lee Hooker, Jr.

I work in the sales department of a local hotel, and he checked in with his band this afternoon. He's apparently been alternately berating the hotel staff, with incredibly foul language, then profusely apologizing. I saw him on camera throw a fistful of change at the front desk staff.

That's really sad. He, Albert King, and Lighting Hopkins are my favorite blues artists.

The general consensus here is that he's either insane or on drugs or both. He did give us a bunch of free passes to his show tomorrow night. I don't think I'm going to go.

Do you mean John Lee Hooker (the legend) or John Lee Hooker Jr.? Because John Lee Hooker is dead.

John Lee Hooker. I didn't realize he was dead. I was into blues a lot in college and still listen to the CDs I have, but I don't know the ins and outs of the lives of the guys. I know that Elmore James is dead though.
