If there are any folks in the US interested in getting a box version of the game once it comes out, I might be able to arrange to bring back a few copies on one of my trips back to the good ole' US of A. Let's see what kind of interest there is, and make some plans, since we still have a little bit of time.

I would be interested in this. I would have to pay you with a money order, if you were to go through with this.

I would be most interested. The shipping cost was giving me definite pause. Please let us know when you're planning to head over there. |

I'll keep y'all posted as to when I'm back. Should be sometime around the beginning/middle of April, so not too long after the release in March. Money Orders aren't a problem, and I have PayPal if folks would like to use that also.

You can let me know before you go so you can go there with money in hand. Less risk and all that for your part.

Maybe some of the folks over there can let us know what the total comes out to? Then we'd have to figure in how much it'd cost Cartman to mail them out to us, as well.

I'll charge the folks whatever it cost me to buy the game, plus, say $8 shipping once I get back to the us. That's be for UPS Ground. If folks want it quicker, I can see what FedEx would charge.
The nice thing about prices over here in Europe is that you pay what the sticker says. The tax is already built into the price. But the tax is extremely high. Here in Italy it is 20%! Hopefully the game is once again in the DVD Jewelbox format. That way I can smuggle more in!!!

CM4 will be my first CM purchase, so I have to ask. In the past, have the SI boys ever set up a US distributor, or is international shipping the only way to go?

cartman - I'd be interested as well (assuming you can fit another one in your suitcase). Just let me know how much it costs and whatnot.

For those who are ordering...
I just ordered from Gamesplanet which has the best price (22.99 pounds) and the cheapest shipping (3.95). That is $41 dollars American. Not bad! |

Thanks for the tip GrantDawg! I had been looking at pre-ordering through chips'n bits, but Gamesplanet works out to be about $10 cheaper. Very good deal!

Well, it looks like they are working on a distribution channel for North America! Depending on the delay, I still will plan on my gray market import/export business on a trip back. I'll try to plan a reason to come back in mid-late April, with a stop in London on the way back. Once I get a date firm, I'll post a new message onto the board, and see who is still interested in a copy of CM, provided that NA distribution still isn't setup.
