That's pretty cool and probably not as dangerous as it looks. Sharks are known to attack divers because the wetsuits make them look like seals. He's wearing orange. Plus the shark already has his food and is trying to book it. He's not looking for a fight and there's no real blood in the water to make him frenzy. At this point, he's like every other fish who's on a hook, scared and trying to leave not looking to mix it up.

It's the "you never know..." part. Mr. Shark could have some buddies who haven't had a chance to eat yet or for whatever reason Mr. Shark flips out or is wondering why he has so much drag. I pretty much wouldn't do it for the same reasons I don't go to the zoo and piss off the tigers.

I just assumed it's fake. Implausibility aside, I figure that shark would have dove rather than just skim the surface and give him a ride.

Could be a fake but I'm assuming the water wasn't that deep which would solve this but actually make the situation more dangerous.

Its definitely a fake imho - check out the other 'surfers' who happily watch the "shark" swim past them as they float on their boards ...

Yep. I noticed the same thing. And the fact the shark swam in a straight line.
