FBCB in Windows 7

Apologies if there is a thread about this already.

I recently installed FBCB in my new laptop that runs Windows 7. Played for a bit and saved the game, no problems. Today I try to access the league and I get an error "Runtime Error 75, path/ File access error" Then I click ok and the game crashes. Tried to create a new league and that crashed also. Tried reinstalling and no help.

Anyone know if there is a fix or if this is a common problem.

Thanks.

Right click FBCB.exe and go to Properties, make sure Run As Administrator is checked.

I would also make sure it's in C:/FBCB or something like that, because Program Files is a fucktarded piece of shit in Vista/7.

Fixed that for you.

Does this game work in Vista? And if so how do I make it work because last time I tried it won't open.

For me, I just installed outside of program files to a "Game" dir I have for my older games, then "Run as Administrator" the first time so elicense runs. Then it's fine after that.

I'm thinking about dusting this one off. I've bought all the CBB versions out there, but this one is still my favorite.

I bought FBCB 2.. but the first version is the only college sim I really got into. I also have DDSCB 2.

Brian got me all taken care of with my FBCB license and I'm back into the game just like that!
