SF Will Brown- Duke, Michigan St, Kentucky, Ohio St., and Vanderbilt are the top 5 schools right now. Michigan St., Ohio St., and Vanderbilt have offered. Will Mr.Brown stay close to home and sign with Michigan St? We will have to wait and see.

PF Jace Hunter- It looks like Jace will definitely be playing in the Big Twelve, the question is where? Kansas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma St., Texas, and Kansas St. are the top 5 right now, and the Longhorns are the only ones of the 5 schools that haven't offered Jace a free ride.

PG Mike Schaplowsky- Duke appeared to be the front runner as we started, then Mr. Schaplowsky quickly remembered that he hated the Blue Devils. Schaplowsky's top 5 stands like this: Michigan St., Illinois, Notre Dame, Pittsurgh, Missouri. None of those schools have offered yet.

SG Kuji Chagulia- A bit of a surprise, as Clemson appears to be Kuji's number one at the moment, and they have offered him a schollie. Also in the top 5 are Kentucky, North Carolina, Mississippi St., and Vanderbilt.

PF Tom Steele- Looks like Tom wants to stay on the west coast, as his top 5 at the moment are as follows: San Diego St., Arizona St., San Diego, USC, Arizona. My bet is that Mr. Steele ends up at a school in either California or Arizona. So far SD State and Arizona St. have offered.

PG Dave O'Shea- Not a lot of big interest at the moment for the playground star from New York. Rutgers is the early favorite, followed by Fairleigh Dickinson, Iona, Seton Hall, and Hofstra. Not exactly the kind of attention he was hoping for a guy that wants to be in the NBA in 3 years.

PG James McDowell- As bad as Dave had it, poor James has it even worse. Only one school is even looking at him now, and that is Eastern Washington. They have not offered yet, let's hope that within the next couple months, more schools show an interest in James.

SF Will Brown- Mr. Brown seems to have narrowed it down to Michigan St. or Duke. Both have offered. The question now is will a sleeper school come in and steal Mr. Brown? Or will he stay home at Michigan St. or travel to Duke.

PF Jace Hunter- Unless something drastic happens, it looks as if Jace has made up his mind. While there are many schools looking at Jace, the only school he is looking at is Kansas.

PG Mike Schaplowsky- Pittsburgh has dropped off the radar for Mike, and Kentucky has entered it. Right now Notre Dame and Illinois have offered, and those seem to be the favorites. But Mike has not decided on anything as of yet, as he is the only recruit so far to be considering more than 2 schools.

SG Kuji Chagulia- Clemson still appears to be the favorite for Kuji, and UAB has entered the mix as well. As of right now Clemson is the only school to have offered a scholarship. Unless something drastic changes, I would bet Kuji will end up at Clemson.

PF Tom Steele- A big surprise, as Tom is actually considering.. North Dakota? Yes that's right, which a prestige of 0, North Dakota has become the front runners for Tom. Also in the mix are San Diego St., Arizona St., and Arizona.

PG Dave O'Shea- Hofstra and Seton Hall are out of the mix, and Temple and Sacred Heart have joined the top 5. In fact, Sacred Heart has already offered Dave, but it looks like he is holding out in hopes that Temple will offer a scholarship.

PG James McDowell- Nothing has changed for poor Mr. McDowell. It seems that Eastern Washington is the only team that wants James right now, and they haven't even had the decency to offer him a scholarship. It's quite possible James could be going the juco route.

SF Will Brown- No change for Will, as Michigan St. and Duke are still the only schools in competition for Will. Looks like he will most likely be staying home to play for the Spartans.

PF Jace Hunter- Jace has orally committed to the Jayhawks, and plans on signing his letter of intent next month.

PG Mike Schaplowsky- Mike has narrowed his choices down to Illinois and Notre Dame. Illinois appears to have the edge. Both schools have offered.

SG Kuji Chagulia- While Clemson is still the top choice for Kuji, UAB has jumped over Kentucky, Mississippi St., and North Carolina by virtue of offering Kuji a scholarship. Looks like at this point it will be between Clemson and UAB.

PF Tom Steele- Tom has dropped Arizona from contention, but North Dakota still holds on to slight hope. As it stands now, both San Diego St. and Arizona St. have offered, and it appears to be between those two schools.

PG Dave O'Shea- Dave is still considering 5 schools: Temple, Sacred Heart, Fairleigh Dickinson, Iona, and Rutgers. Temple, Sacred Heart, and Fairleigh Dickinson have all offered. The logical choice for O'Shea would be Temple, but we will see what he decides.

PG James McDowell- Nothing has changed for James. It appears to be Eastern Washington or bust, however they still have elected not to offer James a scholarship.

SF Will Brown- Will has made his decision, and he will be signing with Michigan State.

PF Jace Hunter- Duke, Michigan St., and Pittsburgh made last ditch efforts to sign Jace, but his decision was made 2 months ago: He has signed a letter of intent with Kansas.

PG Mike Schaplowsky- Notre Dame dropped off the radar late, and Mike made it official as he chose to stay at home and play for Illinois. Looks like Mike and Will are going to be having a few showdowns.

SG Kuji Chagulia- Kuji is the first of the recruits who have not made a decision yet, officially that is. Kuji dropped everybody but Clemson from consideration, and is expected to sign with the Tigers next month.

PF Tom Steele- Arizona State pulled their offer late, making it an easy decision for Mr. Steele. He'll be going to San Diego St.

PG Dave O'Shea- Dave let Sacred Heart and Fairleigh Dickinson hang on for a while, but eventually when it was all said and done, Temple won the recruiting war. Logic played out for Dave.

PG James McDowell- Things have gotten worse for James, as Eastern Washington decided that they didn't want to sign McDowell. So James is now without any offers, and doesn't even have a school recruiting him. Poor James.

I agree. I have never in this game seen a recruit that had no interest. If for some crazy reason you don't get signed this year, then you can try again for next season. Unfortunately to be fair, if anybody does sign you, then you'll be stuck at whatever school you sign with for those 4 years. Can't have people changing recruits because they don't like where they signed. lol

I don't think that will happen. I think somebody will sign him late. I don't think I've ever seen a recruit go unsigned on this game

SG Kuji Chagulia- Kuji was set to sign with Clemson when a new team came marching in.. Michigan St. While the Spartans haven't offered Kuji yet, they have definitely put a halt to Clemson's plans to sign him.. for now anyways.

PG James McDowell- Unfortunately nothing has changed for James. He is still getting no interest from any school, not even the independent schools or the 0 prestige schools.

SG Kuji Chagulia- Michigan St. elected not to go with Kuji, and 4 schools tried to woo Kuji late: Xavier, Mississippi, Missouri, and Maryland. But Kuji's mind was made up: They were his number one all the way and he made it official, signing with Clemson.

PG James McDowell- It's not looking good for James. Still nothing at all interest wise.

February 2010

PG James McDowell- Still nothing at all for James, who has been calling local colleges around the area to make his pitch to play there. It looks like juco ball for James.

March 2010

PG James McDowell- Nothing has changed. James is still sitting at home seeing his dream to play Division 1 basketball go down the tubes.

That's all I have time for tonight, I'm tired and need to get some sleep. I'll have more tomorrow. Hope you all are enjoying.

I'm enjoying it very much! I'm extremely happy that I didn't end up at Kentucky... ugh.

51ichiro51, I wrapped up season 1 just now, and you were not recruited. Tough luck man. Go ahead and pick a new recruit and I'll add you to season 2. I hope to get started on that tonight. As soon as I hear from you I'll get the season 2 recruits set up.
