Christmas "Song" Help

Hoping someone might be able to help me in finding the title of a spoken word piece I used to hear during the Christmas season growing up. For the Atlanta contingent, it was played fairly frequently on the old PEACH radio station during December.

Anyhow, it is an older narrator telling the story of a train ride, with sound effects. At some point during his ride he drifts off to sleep and dreams of a childhood family Christmas scene, with descriptions of various things going on in his house (some cooking, some singing or playing games, etc.). The piece ends with him back on the train and seeing a single mother. He does something sappy like puts his coat around her and they ride together.

I don't know that the piece is particularly good, but it had a Christmas-y feel. I've tried various Google-fu methods to find it, but have come up empty. Does this ring a bell with anyone?

Okay, while we're playing... here's another vague recollection of a similar sort that I would *love* to track down. Song probably appeared on some drugstore-quality greatest xmas hits cassette, circa 2000.

Lyrics (approximately):

Ding dong dingle
...(drawing a blank here)...
Ding dong dingle
Kris Kringle Is In Town

My wife and I were compelled to listen to this cassette maybe 6-8 times through as we endured a party, and if I could track down that song it would be a howler for us both. Alas, previous searching has led me nowhere.

Find it and I will gift you an app, seriously.

From All of Us to All of You by Jiminy Cricket
{scroll down a bit & you'll see the exact line referenced}
Disney First Christmas Special

And your missing line is "What a merry sound"

digamma - doesn't ring a bell with me, but maybe try posting the same question on the Atlanta board at radio-info.com

Lots of long-time Atlanta radio folks there, somebody might just recognize the song either from hearing it or playing it.

I would have guessed 'Go with Him'!
