As I was browsing through my stack of games today I was looking for something a bit different. I was in the mood for football but i didn't feel like thowing my controller against a wall, something that usually happens when i attempt to play Madden. I came across All Pro Football 2k8. It had a bit of dust on the case but disregarding this i took out the game and popped it into my Xbox. I quickly created a Team and jumped straight into a season and for the first time in a while i enjoyed playing a football game. It also made me realize that while 2k8 was a great game in terms of playing standards it has loads of unharnessed potential. The Concept of a Football game built around the greatest players of Yesterday intrigued me. It also showed me with a few tweaks and adjustments the idea of All Pro Football can really become something great and heres how you would do it.

1. License More Legends : While this idea may seem pretty obvious it is the best start. While the concept was in 2k8 the idea wasn't developed per say. When i say More Legends I mean as many all time greats that you can get your hands on. Truly expand the player pool. give us, the users a plethora of players to mix and match with to create a team of our greatest fantasies. While the task is daunting and probably expensive 2k surely has the money to do this. Giving us more Legends allows people of this generation to get a better grip on players they never saw.

2. Implement Backbreakers Customization : Customization was one of the few places where 2k faltered
