I have done ones for the MLB and NBA so i figure why not the NFL? I would like to state these selections come from Statistical Evaluation combined with my own personal opinion. you do not have to agree with the choices i make but i ask if you could please appreciate the Article.

Quaterback : Peyton Manning

This is possibly the hardest position to pick as there have been many great candidates. I firmly believe though that Peyton Manning will be the Greatest QB that has ever handled a snap. Manning has one of the highest football IQ's ever and Calls his own plays (A rarity in the NFL) he essentially is the Coach when it comes to the offensive side of the ball. Manning works with what hes got as he makes pretty much any receiver look good. His ability as a passer is unquestioned and his Leadership on the field is a sight to behold. Last year was considered a "off" year for Manning. If you notice "off" is in quotation marks because he put up 33 touchdowns while thowing for 4700 yards and had a 66.3 completion percentage. He threw 17 Interceptions (his highest amount since 2002) but thats pretty good considering who his targets were after all of the Colts injuries. I swear this guy could probably make Charles Rogers a pro bowler.

Halfback : Barry Sanders

Never had less than 1300 yards in a single season, led the league in yards per game and yards per carry 4 times each, led the league in yards from scrimmage twice (both times over 2000 yards) is one of the 5 2000 yard rushers scored 99 rushing touchdowns averaged nearly 100 yards a game and 5.0 a carry for his career and this was done in 10 years playing behind one of the worst offensive lines in the history of the game. Did I mention that he played for the Lions? Imagine if this guy was actually on a team with a half way decent O-line he would own every record in the book to the point where no one would ever break them.

Fullback : Jim Brown

Many do not know that hall of famer Jim Brown was actually a fullback. His accomplishments easily speak for themselves as why he is on here as he owned every record in the book for quite some time and decided to retire in his prime. The guy was like superman the only problem? there was no Kryptonite to stop him. Jim Brown could have probably run through brick walls and a pack of lions at the same time

Wide Receiver Jerry Rice

Pretty obvious choice here. No Wide receiver has been and possibly ever will be better than Jerry Rice. He led the league in Receiving touchdowns and yards 6 times and put up solid statistics until the end of his career. He was consistent and produced when his team needed it the most. He wasn't the tallest or the most athletic but he wanted it the most out of everyone and thats what truly helped him maximize his potential.

Wide Receiver Randy Moss

Maybe a bit of a surprise pick but Randy Moss was an absolute monster. Standing in at 6-4 215 pounds Randy Moss was athleticism at one of its highest points. He made any play look easy and could burn past virtually every defender. He was responsible for Tom Brady's 50 Touchdown season and gave us the illusion that Daunte Culpepper was actually a great QB.
