    Shaun White Snowboarding Preview

PALGN has posted their preview of Shaun White Snowboarding.

"The HD versions were a slightly different kettle of fish, but also a very impressive one. It takes a similar perspective to Burnout Paradise but instead of one open city, players will have four different mountains to explore, totalling up to 14 square kilometres in size. Each of the mountains will be based on the following locations: Alaska, Utah, Europe and Japan. Each location will have slightly different styles, terrains, difficulties and features. All four mountains will be completely open for exploration, though there will be hazards."

There's a couple Developer's Commentary vids at IGN right now that make this game look great. It looks really similar in the style of Skate even though it's a Ubisoft game. I wonder what the control scheme will be like, but the gameplay vid going down the mountain looked great.

    - Auburn Tigers - Nashville Predators

The vid I saw was at gametrailers last week, and I thought it looked terrible...no fluidity, looked unrealistic, and where was the falling?

I liked the trailer, the game looks great. Will not quite as realistic as Skate was it looks like it could be the best snowboarding game yet in terms of graphic and realism.
I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!
