The upgrade is complete, but you've probably noticed the forums are only showing posts up to about April 8. Posts made after that are still in the process of being moved over, and that should take another week or two. Feel free to start a new thread.
The site might feel a little slow while work continues. Engineers are staying on it through the night to get things moving faster again. Thanks for your patience.
This computer dude Tyler Holt is killing me in the second 8-ball tournament where you have to win 2 out of 3. I can squeeze out a win against him, but he's not giving me this second one for anything. I'll have no choice but to improve if I want to hang in this game.

Yep, that's where I'm at too. I've won the first game twice, then blow a bunch of opportunities to win the next two games and fall flat on my face.
9-ball is a brutal game. A couple times, I've cleaned up the whole table except for the 9-ball, then I miss my 9-ball shot, and the CPU sneaks in there and takes the game on the next turn.
The aiming assist lines are a result of your difficulty setting, which you can change from the "My Profile" screen.
Amateur = lots of assist
Pro = some assist
Master = almost no assist (just one tiny circle indicator)
One thing I am curious about is whether or not the online matchmaking is smart enough to pair people who have the same difficulty selected, because I know that on my end, I can set my difficulty to whatever I want when I go online. But I have found no way to tell what difficulty my online opponents are using.
