Looks like GB could have their 4x100 silver taken away after a runner tested positive for a banned substance. Surprised this happened so soon when in this same event, they only took away Jamaica's medal a decade after the fact.

So Canada would get Silver and China gets bronze. De Grasse gets a gold, silver and bronze overall at these Olympics if that's the case.


What's crazy is that it was a photo finish between GB and Italy. So this could've been a gold medal being taken away and Italys historic moment would've been robbed since they would've gotten the gold, weeks later. Which is the situation which happened in 08 because the silver medalists ended up getting gold, 9 years afterwards.

I wanted to go to Tokyo but failed. Watched some broadcast. Believe that all athletes deserve respect and praise.

They werent letting fans in anyway, wouldnt have made that much of a difference.
