    Just for fun: Legends QB

While we're waiting to discover if/when there will be a new Legends game,
who would you want to be your teams legendary QB?

I'm a Bucs fan - so I'd go with Doug Williams - not much of a legend, I suppose, but it is the Bucs and he did lead them to 3 winning seasons.

Since I live in Colorado, I feel I can make a good case for the Broncos as well, of course for them it's an easy pick: Bubby Brister - what a player!

P.S. Yes, that cover is sharp. I could see where older era players may need a montage as a simple b&w pic wouldn't do.

I'd go with Marino too. I'd love to see VC take a stab at having distinctive QB drops and releases
HBO's "The Wire" should rank as one of the top 10 shows EVER on tv - period

"Signature" style releases, dropbacks etc. would be so nice. Even seeing Marino quickly licking his hand before going under snap, or how he went nuts calling audibles. That would be great.

I think some of this should be weighted towards younger players. It would help 2K if some of the Legends didn't play so long ago and they might be more likely to select someone still announcing over a better older player. Here is a list I came up with (some help with research on wikipedia). I'm sure there are better options in certain spots.

              Buffalo Jim Kelly
              New England Tony Eason
              Miami Dan Marino
              NY Jets Joe Namath

              Cleveland Brian Sipe/Bernie Kosar
              Cincinnatti Ken Anderson/Boomer
              Baltimore Johnny Unitas
              Pittsburgh Terry Bradshaw

              Indianapolis Jim Harbaugh
              Tennessee Warren Moon
              Jacksonville N/A
              Houston N/A

              San Diego Dan Fouts
              Denver John Elway
              Oakland Ken Stabler
              Kansas City Len Dawson

NY Giants Phil Simms, YA Tittle
Dallas Cowboys Troy Aikman, Roger Staubach
Philadelphia Norm Van Brocklin, Ron Jaworski, Randall Cunningham
              Washington Joe Theismann, Sonny Jurgenson

              Detroit Bobby Layne
              Green Bay Bart Starr
              Chicago Jim McMahon, Sid Luckman
              Minnesota Fran Tarkenton

Tampa Bay Doug Williams (Steve Young doesn't count here)
              Atlanta Steve Bartkowski
              New Orleans Archie Manning
              Carolina Kerry Collins

              Seattle Dave Krieg
              Arizona Neil Lomax
              St. Louis Norm Van Brocklin
San Francisco Joe Montana, Steve Young

That would be awesome. Has any football game actually rated the QB's release quickness? Marino's release was one of the fastest of all time while guys like Kerry Collins and Randall Cunningham had long windups. Having more accurate short, medium and deep accuracy ratings would be really nice too. I still remember how awesome Marino was back in Tecmo.
