Is it worth it to buy an Xbox just to play NFL 2K5?

I'm mostly a sports gamer and football just slightly edges out basketball as my favorite game to play. I've been more than happy with NBA 2k7, but lately I've been wanting to play a football game. But unfortunately NFL 2K5 is not backwards compatible with the 360, so my only options are NCAA Football and Madden, both of which I've already played and wasn't too fond of. NFL 2K5 was far from perfect, but it's still considered leaps and bounds better than any football game that EA has put out, which is mind-boggling considering that there is more powerful hardware to develop for. Anyway, do you think it's worth it to purchase an Xbox to just play NFL 2K5?

If this is the main feature you're looking for in this game...then you're missing the big picture.

The only reason I have an XBOX is to play NFL 2k5. With Finn's Editor and Action Replay I could play the game another 2 to 3 years.

Considering what an XBOX goes for these days (not to mention how many really great sports titles still exist for it), NFL 2K5 is only one reason to get one.

Seriously, I could go on for days about this game. Easily, hands down, in my opinion the best NFL video game all round. And I don't think I'm alone on this.

Easily the best football game on the market. Even with its flaws, far and above more fun to play. Xbox systems are pretty cheap right now. I play TOCA 3 and 2k5 thats it on mine. I agree i could get another 2-3 yrs out fo mine also.

It sounds to me that you've obviously played NFL 2K5. I guess the real question here then is; Do YOU think it's worth it to purchase an XBOX just to play NFL 2K5?
