Think about it.I wonder how long the 2k team had actual dev kits with all pro 2k8 working on it.I know they just annouced the game and will release it in spring but hopefully they've been working on this for 2+ years. I just don't want this to be a rush job to get a football game on the market. Hopefully they fixed the player movement/running.

According to Greg Thomas, in that Gamespot interview, he seems to be saying that while there has been a long break between NFL 2K5 and All Pro 2K8, they have had to concentrate on other titles and making sure they could get those titles on the PS3 in the short time they did have.

I'd like to think they have been working on it, but have had to put it on the backburner to get other things done. Then, after they finalized the decision to make All-Pro, they put more concentration on it. I'd say the game is close to being finished and will be finalized as soon as MLB 2K7 passes.

Look at it this way, there's speculation of a SUMMER release. They've been working on this game for a while. Maybe not a FULL staff, but I know they've put some time into it. SHoot, when the whole NFL deal came out, most likely they already had a template or some work in progress for the nextgen systems.

Here is the way I see it. The game has been in development for some time, but it has not received full attention ALL of that time. When they did not have any immanent major releases like NBA, then the game probably had about half the crew working on it. When NBA or some other release was coming up that number probably got cut down to five maybe less. Once that project is over, they move some extra guys back on it until the next big game release. Then when that game is close those guys get moved off. Once that game is released they are back ect. That's how I see it. I dunno.

I hear you guys. I say this because I wonder how much will be improved from 2k5 with a smaller dev team working on it this time around.
