APF needs to be advertised during Super Bowl

I know commercials during Super Bowl are expensive, but if 2K wants to make a statement, they'll release a short gameplay spot during the first quarter with

"ALL PRO FOOTBALL 2K8, The real next generation football experience, coming this Summer!"

Advertising during the Super Bowl would have taken a lot of money (which this project may or may not have) and mind-blowing visuals to showcase, which may not have been ready (yet). But I agree with Clay: if 2K wanted to make a statement and be guaranteed to reach a very large portion of the football videogame-playing market, an ad during the Super Bowl would have accomplished that.

Since that opportunity has come and gone, it will be interesting to see how exactly 2K approaches the advertising and marketing for this game.

I'm not so sure it would have been worth the cost. This game is still a long way off. I think casual gamers would have forgotten the commercial by the time the game is released.
