I just hope we don't get the Jedi Mind Trick defenses we had in football games past... For example, I come out in a 4 wide set and I call a draw. The CPU defense comes out in a dime package but walks the safety down as if they know what play is called.

Reverses worked in NFL2K5, but it had to be the perfect situation...as it should. I pulled off an 50 yard reverse on my buddy and he managed to stop me at the 3 or 4 yard line. It was a thing of beauty.

As someone else mentioned, I just hope the each team plays differently. Give me a new experience and new adjustments for every team that I play.

If I'm able to select a zone/cover 2 scheme out of the 4-3 base playbook in ABP2K8, I would be more than happy.

That is what I enjoyed the most about the 2K football series. Not so much against the AI, but playing smart football minds online was such a chess match.

If they have a wishbone or option offense I would likely buy this game but if we are limited to pro-style offenses in a game that is supposedly not trying to be the "NFL" I don't quite get it.
