How will you guys build your team in AP2K8?

Exactly.

And things like flood routes should be effective vs. Zone and really exploit say Cover 3.

One thing 2k started to do well, but still needed some work on, was goalline pass routes. Goalline fades, goalline fade stops, all of those fun little goalline pick plays that LB's like yourself hated.

Also like to see true bootaction, sprint out, rollout and half roll type packages. Maybe even some sprint draw action?

I think I'm going to build around a franchise QB (Manning, Brady-type) and a strong left tackle. Defense with speed in both the secondary and linebacker corps, but especially strong corners. Recipe for success right there.

I'm going with a traditional pro I offense.

First will be the O-Line, then a stud WR, and a couple of nice RB's. Hopefully a solid QB will be available when it's time for me to pick later.

Like someone said before, i'm going to start with the O-line and Defense then work outward from there.
I'll probably select 2 good OL, 2 DL, 1 LB, 2 DB then QB, RB and work from there.
I really think having a great D and O-line is the key for a good foundation.
