Since I liked the guy a lot, where's Jim McMahon?
I'm surpirsed that Jim Kelly isn't in here as well a Thurman Thomas.

What is the proper link... The link in the All Pro forum on 2ksports posted by an admin does not work...

Nevermind. I found the site.

They motioned an extra blocker into the backfield to max protect. He should not have gone to a hot read. Hastings ran a slant and go, and was wide open. The same play they ran against the Colts the game before. He, Brister, Ware, etc., must have signed free of charge. Or maybe they have a handicap system, i.e. if you take Jerry Rice and Barry Sanders, you have to take Andre Ware.

We might never know. I've heard Cowher defend O'Donnell for that read- even after Neil was gone. But Cowher says nothing about the OTHER interception.

I was a Bubby supporter (as he was a much better leader and had a better arm- and a willingness to throw further than 8 yards down field), and I felt the job was his to lose after coming back from surgery. But..we opted to play N.O. against the Bills in the 92/93 playoffs, and we got our clocks cleaned, and NO played terrible.

Next season, Bubby was gone, and we were stuck with N.O.

The irony about Neil is that I thought for his entire career at Pittsburgh he was too "safe"- in that he'd only throw short ins, outs, or extremely skinny posts. But, in the SB, he became wild with the ball, and it cost us. Go figure..
