Wonder if the 49ers have the most players? I counted 20.

Joe Montana
Roger Craig
Hugh McElhenny
Joe Perry
Ricky Watters
Tom Rathman
Dwight Clark
Jerry Rice
John Taylor
Brent Jones
Randy Cross
Guy Mcintyre
Jesse Sapolu
Bubba Paris
Bob St. Clair
Chris Doleman
Gary Plummer
Ken Norton Jr.
Dave Wilcox
Ronnie Lott

I think the NIners and Cowboys have the most players.

I'm really bummed that they left out Steve Young. Maybe it's because he is employed with espn or something.

Mike Ditka is in the game and he works for ESPN.

I was taking a "wait and see" approach about this game, but the roster has really got me curious. Smart move with the legends. I'm interested to hear more information.

On a side note, I wonder how this will sell to guys in their teens and early 20's. This game's niche seems to be towards my age bracket (30+)... Very creative idea

I think they got enough of the newer legends to appeal to the younger crowd. I'm 22 and I'm stoked about the roster of legends. I told my teenage brother about the direction APF was taking and he was like, "Oh no way! That's awesome. I remember running all day with Roger Craig on Play Action Football on the NES, and making interceptions with Ronnie Lott. It's going to be cool to have all those old school guys on it."

I think there are enough guys on that roster that people who liked playing football games even just 10-15 years ago will be happy. It'll almost be nostalgic playing with a lot of the same players that are remembered from childhood days of Joe Montana Sports Talk NFL Football, Play Action Football, Tecmo Bowl, and Madden NFL circa early 90s.
