VC heres some help with Uni Ideas

there is no reason to have any garbage uniforms in APF2k8. Treat the unis like the stadiums. take the better designs and run with 'em for each team. here are a few to borrow heavily from. nice fonts, accents, stitching, etc.

we spend alot of energy arguing (myself included lol), lets get back to what we do best, feeding these guys ideas and feedback.

Good thread. I think cool looking uniforms will be extremely important, but I fear they won't get attention. If they have plenty of customization options it's not that big a deal if some of the designs are bland, but I think if the out of the box team unis kick azz it'll go a long ways towards selling the game. There are tons of varied uniform designs in the college ranks; hopefully they're looking there for inspiration and not to movies like Any Given Sunday

actually, during that vid interview w/ a seemingly coked up [insert first name] Thomas he laid it on pretty thick about unis. i remember something about being able to design "anything you can imagine" ... "right down to the socks"

that guy that ran the support2k website still hasnt put it back online, im hoping thats a sign they are working with him. his sh*& was tight. if not im hoping they are jackin college unis left and right lol.....

by the way if the Ironmen's stadium isnt done well, im holding you responsible for not posting that "molten metal" idea earlier.

yeah sounds like we will have alot of options. i may spend some time tweaking my team but i hope the rest of the league is done well too. plus if its like games in the past, the user created uni's wont look as good because the lighting & textures for the packaged teams are usualy tweaked well before release.

The unis shown in the GI issue look like something from Blitz. I wonder if there's a way to get around the NFL by having editable templates of every NFL uniform without the NFL logos. For example, you can have the "Panthers" uni template with the "new" logo in place on the sleeves, helmet, pants, etc. Also, it can be any color you can imagine.

Ok here we go I think. Not really concerned with the Logos but with the uni design.
