I think it'd be cool if both teams started at the twenty for the first series and then move 10 yards back if both teams scored. If neither team scores, then they stay there and do it again, but if both teams score the same number of points, they start the next series from the thirty and then the forty, etc.
(Obviously if one team scores more than the other, then the game is over).

no one wants them to totaly disregaurd the rules of the NFL. i must admit the idea to tweak them has crossed my mind for APF2k8.

See, I don't want them to change any rules. You can buy Blitz for that. I give them credit for the legends deal. I thought they would go more of a fiction league, but it has gotten my interest. I defintely would not buy if the rules of football are changed, bended, modified, whatever. Just my 2 cents.

we are talking about rules changes such as Overtime, and stuff... not the actual game of football being altered.

yeah, for example id like to be able to challenge a call inside of the 2 min. warning. I ate getting a bad spot and not being able to have the replay booth take a look at it because the officials have to call for it inside of 2 mins

I don't think any game does that, and if they do it's just terrible programming.
