I have heard that 2K sent an 80% completed version of All Pro to the NFL to show them what they could do if given another chance with the license.

Can anyone confirm or deny this?

Sorry if I am out of the loop in understanding this, but what does sending it "to the NFL" exactly mean? To the president? To their headquarters? I never really understood how we, as people or just forum members, consider a large corporation to be personified as a single body, even when it comes to opinions, decisions, actions, etc. In this case, what does it mean that it's being sent to the NFL?

Why would this even matter. The NFL has never been concerned with which game plays better.

Come on man think about it for a second. Why would VC send them the game? As others have said Madden owns the license. Not because of the quality of the game but because of who bid more. That's all the NFL is worried about if VC bids more the next time the license is up they will get it.

I'm not saying they couldn't have sent the game but what good is going to do?
