Seriously, am I the only one who thinks the stadiums are, well, too much? To me, that kind of over the top foolishness just seems to be at odds with the old school players and sim-oriented gameplay.

They wanted to go a different direction with that and make the stadiums amazing with animatronix. It is MEANT to be over the top, and they succeeded.
