Considering the customization...is anyone going to recreate the NFL???

Well, obviously I was referring to what I'd do with the supposed wide range of customization available in the game. AKA, make the logos/jerseys as close to the NFL as possible.

I think I'll be okay with the game as it is, meaning I'm not going to try to remake real teams, but I will likely try to create some more interesting looking uniforms. I wasn't all that impressed with the designs they showed in the recent pictures. I'm just glad we'll have the option to fix that if we like.

Yeah that's really the only problem I have with what I've seen. Not a big fan of the current uniforms.

You guys are reading way too much into this press statemnt. Two weeks ago they said this wasn't going to be in the game, now it is. I'm not a programmer but I don't think you can put this in a game that will ship in a month.

I think there will be basic editing options for the teams. You will not be able to create the entire NFL with real logos. I think we we'll have is teams with real names and logos that don't quite match the team.

In terms of player creation, I hope 2k Sports doesn't hinder the community. You know there will be guys that create every player in the NFL. I worry that there will be a 100 created player limit or something.

I don't think the custimization feature will be that of a game like WE. I really hope I'm wrong. If creating a virtual NFL isn't possible, I hope the editor will allow the community create as many legends as possible. You know fans will create everyone from Shannon Sharpe to Mike Ditka. As long as we can add our own legends and share those with others in the community, I'll be happy. That is if the gameplay is good.

No need to recreate the NFL, that is what Madden is for, this game is it's own game.

I already said, I don't think it will be possible to recreate the NFL, only because there won't be 32 teams.

what are they gonna do??? find you and check ur hard drive for NFL players?? I mean, their are other people named thomas jones in this world, so how will they stop you from making them. one more thing, why would they put "full custamization" in the game if they didnt think people would try to recreate the NFL???
