hahaha..that about sums it up. If you are serious that one guy didn't like it because you have to actually do real drops like real football, then i mock him with every inch of my being.

The best was when they got into the argument about how if you want this game I hope you don't like the NFL. The guy disagreed and said this game is for hardcore NFL fans and you could make a Joe Montana/Emmit Smith offense.

I can dig what the 1up guy is saying that you need to be a BIG NFL fan to enjoy this game. Not only that, but I'd add that you need some NFL history under your belt for it to be very interesting.

I think there's a learning curve when it comes to the old guys that people will have to get past. For me, its no big deal. I was born in 1972, so its no thing since I saw 80% of these guys play.

I think the real challenge for this game will be getting the sub- 18 year olds to care and figure out who Kenny Stabler is, Christian Okoye, Earl Campbell.

I know I care...because I'm older and followed these guys, but the average young bubble-gum chewing 15 year old NFL fan was 8 years old when Dan Marino retired. So even Dan's heyday isn't that "recent" to many.

So I think this is going to be more of an older-gamer product...which I'm fine with. Us geezers need our advantages.
