Icon5 How many on a roster?

we know at this point that you get 11 legends on a team, but how many players total are gonna be on a team total? I.E. how many generic players are gonna fill out your teams roster?

I think this plays a HUGE role in how you play the game. Particularly with role fatigue plays in the game.

Haven't seen any info on this yet. Anyone else?

Re: How many on a roster?

I think 54 is normally average on an NFL team, but I don't know what it will be like for this game.

That would be pretty cool to see my name as one of the generic players, considering my name (Robinson) is somewhat of a cliché athlete name. All they need is the first name thereafter.

Wow, 54, huh?!?

That means A LOT of generic players on a team. That will be interesting to see how that's executed. particularly with Dan and Peter and their commentary. I know some of the impressions I read stated that their commentary hasn't changed much, but it has to have changed pretty significantly considering that you had to take out all of the references to NFL players and their histories etc... Plus add information on the legends.

Also, how do they talk about the legends without mentioning their "NFL" past? I read somewhere that the presentation wasn't up to the usual 2K standards, maybe it's because they had to strip so much stuff out and not mention the NFL at all.

Again, it should be interesting to see how they handle this...

Re: How many on a roster?

You don't have to talk about their NFL Past.

You can talk extensively about their ability to get things done.

No doubt, but that only goes so far. Generally commentary speaks on what a player has done in the past. Their "credententials" for being called a "Legend"...

A Legend of what?

All I'm saying is that it will be interesting to see how they accomplish this...
